U don't realize Coronavirus and its implications: release now or not at all

Full title is supposed to be: (Some of) You don't understand coronavirus and its implication for the album and tour: Release the album now or not at all in 2020.

You don't understand coronavirus and its implications,

leading virologists in the world say that coronavirus will least at least one year, up to 18 months (or longer), this is just one out of many sources: https://www.livescience.com/coronavirus-pandemic-could-last-18-months.html

It is beyond comprehension and utterly shocking to me, that you still don't realize the situation, here are many US-Americans and especially the US are late in realizing the situation. You still act as if coronavirus crisis will be over in June....

Coronvirus: It's not gonna stop in two weeks or two months.

New York State had 0 confirmed cases by February 29th, it is now above 25,000.

In France, there is massive underreporting, basically most people cannot do coronvirus testing. Meanwhile, the coronavirus number in Italy is likely around half a million (600 000), because only 1 of 10 coronavirus cases are reproted.

When the tour is supposed to start, in July 2020, likely in US-America there will be over one million coronavirus cases and Europe will still nevertheless have over 300,000 cases. In the UK, there is a massive increase in coronavirus cases, but the UK government reacted too late to stop it.

From New York state, the virus will spread to the rest of America, even if numbers will get lower in other states.

You are all angry about the album getting delayed, but the truth is:

Admit it or not: It would have been wiser to release the album now, or not at all in 2020, because at any later moment in time, the situation will be worse than it is now. The UK health system is going to collapse just like Italy is currently and it WON'T BE OVER IN TWO MONTHS, it is just the start.

!Listen to the virologists and experts!

In Europe, many virologists said that hosting football games with an audience is unimaginable and will be impossible for all of 2020 and that the season for football is over for 2020. The Olympics got cancelled today and as you all know the olympic Comitte was very negative towards the idea of delaying the games, they however examined all probabilities and arrived at the solution that it is extremely unlikely that coronavirus will be at low levels in summer. The tour dates cannot match the album, unless the tour and album will both occur in 2021.

So, the wisest move for Gaga is to release the album now (of course it wouldn't be a normal release, this is impossible anyway, whether now or later this year) because the future world in a few months will be very different than the world we know today, OR release it in 2021 or 2022.

Do you really think these entitled little drama queens care in the least? :trollga: Nice try thou. They won't listen It's all about them and wanting us to validate their feelings about an album delay. When we don't they kick & scream and demand more negative attention. They are oblivious to the people getting sick, suffering and dying. Those things are not personally affecting them so they don't care.

Experts are predicting (at least in the US, and Europe) that Coronavirus will peak around Mid to Late April (Around when Chromatica was supposed to be released) and it will go down in Early to Mid May, Late May to Early or mid June at its latest

At earliest, she could release the album in June, it may be a good idea to keep the hype up for the album, though she may still have little to no promo, i'm gonna go with July, though it would have been a while Since Stupid Love, she could promote the album more, August/September would be WAYYYY to late

Lets do it baby I know the Law

I think the difference is the world is simultaneously going into lockdown now.

Nobody is saying it needs to be 100% eradicated before she can do anything. But months from now the situation is likely to be better...

At this point a decision has been made and it’s out of our control.  The only thing we can do is move forward and accept the circumstance

You know he's talking to the ones who are for the delay right? :ally:

Corona lasting that long doesn't mean it will get worse and worse and worse throughout those 18 months, and I highly doubt countries will be able to stay shut down for that long anyway... Besides, drugs are being tested - I'm inclined to believe that things will get better sooner, it won't take a year and a half for things to start getting better...

It's a joke! When you give me that look, it's a joke!

That's pretty much what I'm thinking as well and it upsets me. The pandemic will last for a while. If Gaga doesn't release it now, she won't release in 2020 at all. I'm sure Gaga, her team and Interscope were well aware of this when they made the decision to postpone Chromatica.

Exactly. There’s a big difference between the reported numbers and the actual numbers. So if China reported 20,000 people it could very easily be 200,000

And some countries are reporting nothing. Mainly because they have no resources to deal with this

No one can predict the future. Even china have the case until 80k+ but can stop and slow it down quite quickly

The title of the thread is "U don't realize Coronavirus and its implications" so thats kinda directed at the people who the OP feels isn't really "getting it". Which are the ones who are making the most fuss about this album delay. I'm simply commenting that those type of people don't care anyways. But if I'm wrong

Yes, the virus will last a year but it wont keep peaking. If anything things will get to its upmost worst by April, when the album was supposed to be released. The outbreak will eventually begin to be controlled and the lock downs will be lifted gradually. Its not like she has to wait until the virus itself is eradicated. She just has to wait until quarantine is oficially over and most public places open again

Yes, it will peak around mid-to late April in general in the western world, however, under the conditions that quarantine/protection measures are kept.

If you allow nightclubs, gathering of 50 people or more,  etc. the numbers will continue to rise again. Also if international travel and New York subway is allowed again, the numbers will exponentially increase again.

So, Lady Gaga will never have a normal situation in 2020 to release the album. They must either accept the the conditions will be very different, or delay it to 2021/2. The reason why the album is delayed, is because they want to have promo partys and live audience, but you won't be able to have them now or  anytime later in future in 2020, unless you host it in a US state that is the least affected by globalization.

We must realize that, since coronavirus, the world is rapidly changing and not coming back to normal anytime soon.

Everybody stay at home and it will die soon. If not, it will last for a long long time.

but I don’t think ppl in US would stay at home for a month like Chinese do. The Social system is so different. If fact, pandemic is much more easier to die out in autarchy like China and South Korea. they can force ppl to do things.
