She could have done all that via streaming

My thoughts exactly. We would be so thankful to have a little bit of music in all this chaos. It's the perfect time to take us to CHROMATICA

What if tomorrow I see you again? Should I say that I used to love you?

Her team is not proactive, they should do promo or live performances through Facebook, IG, etc.

At least she isn't risking peoples' lives and more importantly (:huntyga:) her own.

I’m more than sure they’re currently rethinking everything. A label won’t sit back and let a pandemic ruin an album that would make them a lot of money. They’re obviously going to work around the issue and change promo plans, or delay the album, or both or whatever. So everyone should stop thinking Gaga or Interscope don’t give an f bc obviously they do.

How unlucky we are tho :messga: Waiting for this era for 4 years and right at this moment we had to have a global crisis :messga: We can’t catch a break for real :messga:

Yeah, but when I'm talking about hardcore promotion I mean her going overseas to the UK, Europe, Asia (Japan), Australia...

That type of promo was most likely not planned but it’s not too far off to believe there was going to be promo regardless. And just like Joanne, i think she was going to focus more on album promotion than single promotion. PI was promoted but not that much besides some radio interviews. She just doesn’t promote singles like on the pre-ARTPOP days.

Thats exactly what I was saying, like of course she had promo planned but it was not major promo that she had in mind.

It aint a good song either but it caters to the GP. Stupid Love caters to almost no one. It is a miracle it got that big debut thanks to the post ASIB hype around Gaga's new music.

The 2nd single is what will stick (hopefully)

honestly can we restart this era like next year? Even if the album comes out, I doubt covid-19 **** will be cleared anytime soon and it's just tainting the experience.

It’s done, we’re just gonna have to accept that we won’t get the era we wanted. It’s out of everyone’s control, nothing else to do but work around the issue now.

Okay friends, I get that we're all clamoring for some updates from her team, but we have no idea what's going on behind the scenes. Streaming a performance remotely isn't as easy as you may think. California has a shelter in place order, so it's not like Freddy & Sarah can just come over and get her ready for the performance (unless she's already living with them), and her band  and dancers can't just show up and perform with her – sorry, but a musical performance doesn't qualify as an "essential" business. They would be violating a government order and would be fined, and it would be horrible optics for her team to be violating this order during a pandemic. At most, she could do something on the piano, but if Chromatica is largely a dance album, this might be tricky. And I don't know how you expect a performance of her rumored duet with Ariana when they can't be in the same place – maybe they can still pull off a duet via FaceTime or Zoom, but it's going to take bit more logistical work.

I imagine her team has been discussing whether to delay the album or to release it on time but with reduced and revamped promo, and if the latter, they are probably trying to figure out just what kind of promo they can do given all of the restrictions. Gaga can't go anywhere but the grocery store or a doctor's office right now, and legally, people from the outside shouldn't be coming to her house. Her silence could be because she doesn't know what's going to happen yet.

We need to be understanding. She likely did have a lot of promo planned for this era, such as SNL (I heard several murmurings on this), and possibly late-night shows, etc., and now that's all vanished in one poof. These are unprecedented times that no one could have foreseen. It's also possible that she is trying to think of how she can do some sort of fundraising to help get more money for masks, gowns, ventilators, and the like, which honestly is more important right now.

It's up to her whether she delays the album and the era. We can hope for a certain outcome, but we have no control over it. I fully understand and support her if she delays the album, but I'll also understand and support her if she releases it as scheduled. If she delays it and offers us another single to tide us over, great. If she doesn't, that's okay.

All of our lives have been upended right now. These are not "normal" times. I'm sure we will hear from her eventually, once she and her team formulate a plan going forward. Just as we should be extra gentle with ourselves right now, let's try to be gentle and understanding with others too.
