Stupid Love Promo

Does anyone else find it a little odd that was little to no real press for stupid love?  In the past we’ve had interview after interview. We’ve had good morning America. Before ARTPOP was released we had an entire concert at the iTunes music festival that sampled like 6 or 7 songs. My only complaint is totally selfish because I just love listening to her interviews and getting hyped, but this has been a very quiet launch and it just feels unusual.

Obviously it’s more than expected with everyone quarantined lol I’m more talking about before this happened.

anyways what are your thoughts? Do you agree? Do you think it’s a different strategy?

there are indeed no interviews or performances, but think about it this way. she wouldn't want to risk catching the virus, would she? not that she would die, but she shouldn't spread it, it's wrong.

though what she could do in little effort and time is a performance from her home, on the piano, or an instagram live interview with questions fans submitted, again, from her own space.

Well, she did the Zane Lowe interview, had commercials for the single, did the Skype interview, did the Paper Magazine interview, gave us a Gagavision, has teased lyrics from unreleased songs, etc. She’s done a fair amount given the situation, it’s just been less in-person promotion.

I’m more talking about the first two weeks of the singles launch. There wasn’t much panic about the virus then. At least here in America.  The first week she the single launched she was silent. She did a little 7 minute thing for iTunes but I expected her to be on jimmy fallon or something.

I agree she should promote her song more. I understand the corona crisis, but whats wrong with uploading a performance like this:

Stanlist: Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Dua Lipa, Fifth Harmony girls, unperfect, Grace VanderWaal, Rina Sawayama

I'm a bit confused too. People scream CORONA! but we all knew things would happen this way when Gaga dropped Stupid Love. I think she just doesn't care about the commercial performance, and it's OK, but I would find it way more exciting if she promoted it a little bit, or teased the album a bit. She has only aknowledged her lead single twice after its debut week:enigma:

Gotta love her though, and I love the song, that's the most important thing
