Primeminister of Bavaria Markus Söder just announced the entirety of Bavaria will be put under a strict curfew because of the ongoing corona crisis. According to data the government was provided by the German Telecom, way too many Bavarians did not practice social distancing and did not care about the recommendations to stop the spread of the virus, further intensifying the measures they have to take.

The primeminister was especially furious about young people celebrating corona partys and announced that planners and participants of such partys will have to pay a hefty fine in the near future.

Lol. Meanwhile in Baden-Württemberg 200km west people are flocking to the streets and parks and I literally have never seen so many people outside in spring. Also my company's boss just wrote a mail that there isn't any reason to be in home office unless one is under quarantine or has kids to watch:huh:

Omg. Our healthcare systems are going to be decimated.

It is strange to me that the German government didn't put a curfew onto the whole country earlier :neyde: . Also, here the police just had to send people home from hanging out in the park in very large groups :madge: . I wouldn't mind a country-wide curfew for some weeks, tbh :lana:

Ew, David!

Wow it's getting real very fast, I can't at people who just party as if noting has happened :fthis:

I think these rules will apply country wide from Monday, but tbh should have been enforced a week ago :bradley:

I don’t know what’s bad about that and why soooo many people are mad!

Like you can still go grocery shopping and won’t starve, you’re bored ugly asś is able to stay at home for 14 days without parties if it means less people will lose their lives!

You don’t know? I mean, you can have your opinions on how this is being handled BUT let’s not act like a worldwide curfew is some common occurrence. This is unprecedented. Law enforcement/military patrolling the streets is unprecedented. And if this quarantine situation gets extended even further, or even more so if it becomes forcefully mandated, things WILL start getting weird. And then we’ll have an entirely separate thing to fear.

Still this is what MIGHT can happen (but I think will never happen at all) if it even gets extended further.

What SURELY happens if we don’t stay at home is that the virus spreads even further and costs the lives of more people.

For many people it’s “just like the flu” but my boyfriends uncle actually died after he was tested positive for coronavirus. He’s 1 of “only” 8 people who died in the area I live,  but the numbers will rise.

So NO I do not understand why people don’t stay at home like they’re supposed to be and act “sooo rebellious” chilling in the park in groups of 20. That’s my opinion and your comment didn’t change it at all.
