I mean maybe it is, but I might need to relisten. Scared to Live was ok. Escape From LA was a bit underwhelming, I was kinda hyped for that one. Alone Again was a fantastic intro, and Until I Bleed Out was a fantastic closer. I had never heard any other single but BL, so I’ll say Heartless was amazing that song just goes OFF. And the title track I - Pure sonic bliss. Whew I mean, it was insanely good. Faith went hard as well, Hardest To Love was really good idk why many here didn’t like it. Too Late and Snowchild were decent. I loved the 80s combo In Your Eyes and Save Your Tears. Overall it was a pretty good album, the production was incredible, but Abel always delivers in that department. It was very atmospheric and kind of reminded of Starboy in how synthwave-ish it is, except this one is even more synthwave-ish. Nice balance of urban trappy songs with pop songs. I really really enjoyed it, very immersive, great vocals, great production, great flow. Might be his second best, or maybe even his best I’ll have to think about it. But quite annoyed by vocal effects. Chart-wise: very streamable, easy to catch on radio. Please ignore the spelling in username. I am a Beyonce stan afterall. Highlights of album, that being said, I expected more from the other track because of this. Some were very lack luster despite busy production. I loved Faith and the transition into blinding lights is heavenly. In your eyes is another good one. for me, I liked the second half of the album better. i think it’ll grow on me tho, everytime I listen to new releases it’s empty and cant tell if I’ll bop to it or not.
