Delaney Elias 1,318
Hello Monsters. The two DJs I am referring to are Space Cowboy and Brendan Jay Sullivan. IDK why but I have been wondering, what happened to them? In Gagavison (the original version) especially, Space Cowboy and Gaga seemed so close but I don't think they've been together since The Fame. Brendan Jay Sullivan (he looks like Brian Newman) has known Gaga since before she hit it big and he was a DJ for her very early on in her career as well. He wrote a book titled Rivington Was Ours: Lady Gaga, The Lower East Side, and The Prime Of Our Lives which talks partially about her (I haven't read it yet, but I am going to get it). I heard it's very good. Again, they seemed very close, even closer than Gaga and Space Cowboy. I haven't seen THEM together since 2009. I know he stopped DJing for her because her career was taking off, but they seemed to remain friends. When he talks about her now, no that it's a whole lot, he seems to still like her. I don't think he fell out with her unlike someone else we know (Perez). It's weird that I haven't seen them together since 2009 because for example, Lady Starlight is still in touch with Gaga and has known her for a similar amount of time as Brendan. Anyone have any information? IDK why I am writing this. I guess I'm just bored and curious. Monsters Discuss. Delaney

Space Cowboy actually worked on So Happy I Could Die and one other song for The Fame Monster. (I can't remember what it is.) Unfortunately, I am unaware of where he has been in relation to Lady Gaga since. I am not sure about Brendan Jay Sullivan. EDIT: The other song he did was Monster. EDIT TWO: He has also worked on Earthquake. he/him/his
NFRatwell 23,290
Not to be shady towards Gaga but unless you’re a jazz artist I don’t think she stays very close with her musical collaborators/friends for long. I mean can we talk about how she didn’t even include her past female collaborators such as Diane Warren and Hillary Lindsey in her playlist. Her relationship with music collaborators (unless you can bring something new to the table like DJWS and kinda RedOne) last an album or two max. In the next 3 years someone will bring up Grimes or BloodPop and she’ll be like “Who?” Lol
elijahfan 26,416
Space Cowboy pretty much disappeared. I mean, in life people sometimes go their separate ways, that's how it goes. I assume you're not in touch with absolutely every person you hung out with 10 years ago, it's the same.
Twitter 14
I have NOT heard of Brendan Jay Sullivan since 2009.
Thwack 762
Rivington was ours is a great book! I just finished it a few days ago. Its interesting to be a fly on the wall at Gaga’s genesis. I wish Gaga herself would give her perspective of that time. Brendan actually talks a bit about space cowboy in the book and how he replaced Brendan. I doubt Brendan still has contact with Gaga but he’s still active on Twitter, I think.
RAMROD 109,875
Nobody knows about Space Cowboy whereabout. He had solo release after with Gaga but not successful. He may be have become regular people now, or just have another pseudonym, as he have many, I believe he have other stage name before he uses Space Cowboy.
