I saw this story earlier on Twitter. I have to admit this is kinda the perfect time to be purchasing and playing video games:

People are in quarantine, ordered to stay home, and practice social distancing. Need I say more? :huntyga:

Well this is gonna give like a last punch to the company...anyway my PS4 Pro (And I suspect they sold me not a brand new console for one:grr:) is my last purchase from them, I don’t care if they close. They are famous to sell pre owned games at the price of new once and that’s ridiculous!

Lil off topic I need a sugar daddy who can buy me a Nintendo Switch Animal Crossing Edition thx:awkney:

Yes...

I don't know about the word pass.

The movie theater industry is screwed at this point. So yea, I'll be keeping an eye on that as time progresses. As well as malls close to me that were already close to closing down before the pandemic.

I just meant it's too sad to be interesting. That's why I said interesting is not the word I'd use

It's very popular to hate on business these days but I think ppl are really gonna hurt. Their struggles get felt by the employees and in turn everyone

ok...

People are already getting laid off.  Multiple areas within the entertainment industry have seen hundreds of thousands of layoffs. So yea, I'm keeping tabs on these industries that I'm usually pretty connected with. And it's interesting to me because we're already between old and new technology when it comes to theaters and streaming. The whole situation will force the industry into a position that it has been fearing for a while now. And that is the inevitable transition to streaming. Everyone in the industry has no idea what it will bring since it's coming so quickly. Hence the curiosity and questions being brought up lately by industry insiders.

I'm not hating on business at all... Where is that even coming from. I care about the people whom I follow who work in this industry. We've already seen movie news shows decaying away due to cuts to business. This recession will only continue that if it gets even more serious. The world is going to chance because of the virus. And with multiple companies already on the line, I'll be watching to see how malls, theaters, etc bounce back.

I don't know where this is coming from. Your pushback and putting words into my mouth... It's a bit.. odd.  But I'm going to ignore. :/

It's literally not coming from anywhere it was not directed at u. I never said u were one of the business haters that was a generic and generalized comment

But back to my point I don't find this interesting I find it worrying because there's so much on the line. I've been into economics since I was 12 (that's 14 years now) and interesting is the last thing I consider what's going on

As for entertainment I'm not as pessimistic on screening. It's an experience going to the movies with friends. I don't think it's gonna stop anytime soon just because we have streaming

The young generation has been streaming for many years and many young people still go
