how do you know that? do you know how the virus spread in the US? for now what we know is the biggest areas of contagion are washington state, cali and n-y, far from florida. 
 

and again, this event statrted march 4, before any serious directive in the US. its the governement that is at fault here, not the people. its so easy to criticize with the benefit of hindsight...

now, if they would do that today, that would be different

As of march 3rd (the start of the event) there were already 10k+ cases outside of china, Iran and Italy were already reporting hundreds of new cases and tens of deaths. The US already had 64 cases that include local trasmission, and 2 deaths. WHO had already assessed the risk level as very high globally source .

Yeah no this event didn't happen back in January or early February, by the time the event took place it was already a serious case globally. And of course such events attract people from different places not just Florida.

Our governor is doing an amazing job. But sadly you guys are blinded by the fact he's a Republican. He's doing better than any of the governors who are shutting down their entire state and ruining their economy in the process. no but I was already avoiding crowded places (especially unnecessary ones like parties) since early February when things already were getting bad in China.
