Another reason why delaying Chromatica would make no sense

With all the stores closing and cities being in quarantine, there are less chances of the album appearing on the shelves early or being leaked by an employee, delivery worker, etc.

2. Fans and other physical media consumers will buy the physical album online if they want to have it. The GP will stream it if they wish to do so.

3. Music heals people in trying times.

Anyway Dua and The Weeknd albums will be an indication to #Chromatica's sales

But people will still buy the physical albums, just online:laughga:

4. The events canceled and delayed were so in order to avoid crowds and transmission so unless Chromatica was planned to be released through a massive listening rave, there is zero reason to delay its launch.

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

Does the C2C fans know how to use a computer? No they don't. They will account for nearly 20,000 pure sales. :billie:

The rumors they plan to release the Ariana featured music video on April 10 is a strategy to overcome reduced promo opportunities too.  Since January 2020, the Billboard Album chart factors in video streams.

That’s far fetched and Exclusive C2C fans would not buy this album anyway :billie:

You guys should think about Gaga. A few days ago an user here told me he doesn't care about charts, he just wants to listen to her music, and that Gaga will still win her money regardless charts position. Well, she won't win that much money if the album fails. It'll also send a bad message to Interscope and they could not invest big money on her anymore. Besides, if Chromatica flops, don't expect another Gaga's album for the next 5 years.

I just gave you three reasons why the album wouldn’t fail. Another user mentioned another one.

Do you know how little impact physical sales have on charts anymore? I’m sure half of the fanbase pre-ordered the album online anyway, and perhaps multiple copies of it (casette, casette 2, vinyl, vinyl limited edition, whatever.)

I wouldn’t expect a new album from Gaga very soon anyway. But this has no effect on anything at all. It even helps because people are stuck inside, bored out of their minds and maybe they will check out some new music.

It's not about physical sales. It's just not the right time to release an album. The world is in chaos now. People have more serious concerns.
