Trump would stomp Bernie harder with his "crazy Bernie" stuff but you guys just won't ever have that conversation because you like your alternate reality better. Thankfully that won't happen and Biden is going to clinch the nomination or this would be a historic landslide loss for Dems.

The only states that are in play in 2020 are MI, WI, PA, AZ, FL, NC. So far, Bernie has won or is projected to win none of those states. But enjoy your delusion.

Also, this election shouldn't really be a treated as a source of entertainment. This isn't a joke. Literal millions of lives, especially women, LGBTQ and minority rights are on the line.

The way you're so sure Bernie stands a snowball's chance in hell in a national election.  The delusion. :ladyhaha:

Actually Bernie and Biden both would (or at least should) beat Trump if the polls are to believed :lolly:

They win back those crucial states that Hillary lost in 2016 and their path to an EC win is wider than Trump's.

It's still not a certainty but...you know :laughga:

All I can say is another progressive better run in 2024. Deserved or not, Bernie's image is too tainted to the Dems imo. They'll never elect him.

Why don't you argue with the substance of what I wrote instead of pivoting to non-sequiturs? What key GE state(s) or key demographics is Bernie winning that makes him deserving to win the nomination and puts him in a position to beat Trump?

Also, it's bold of you to assume that I'm a moderate/centre-right individual just because I don't support Bernie. This is the literal problem with his supporters. You guys are NOT the gatekeepers of progressivism so please, miss me with that bullshit.

Just because I don't agree with Bernie's ways to achieve progressive goals doesn't make me or any progressive voter who doesn't support him any less progressive than you or any other Bernie supporter.

Political ideologies are always placed on a spectrum and people can't be slapped labels on or boxed into this easily. It's ultimately about where YOU place your personal Overton window and use it to define progressivism and there's no right or wrong way about it.

So you counter corporate media bias with... propagandist left-wing bias. Yeah that should neutralize the situation and give voters a fair idea of what's happening.

Bernie's great at pointing out problems, he's terrible at solving them. When the mods asked him what he would do NOW for those suffering from the virus he could say nothing except Medicare for all. Which means nothing in the present. It's great for the future. His stubbornness and refusal to do his homework hurt him last night. He has no actual plans. And I like him and voted him. But Joe clearly is the better choice in times of crisis. That's why Joe pulled ahead. (He flubs all the time, but his plans are succinct and practical and can actually get done.) That and 20 somethings refuse to vote en masse. For reasons I simply don't understand.

you can def argue the fact joe was Obama’s VP is helping his case.

you can also argue the fact all of the corporate democrats combined their strengths behind Joe Biden the moment Bernie gained momentum that would have gotten him nominated. The DNC had Pete drop out, had Amy drop out, right before Super Tuesday. Period. To get the moderate vote and the confused Bernie or Pete, Bernie or Amy, people to jump to Biden.

people did not vote on policy. 3/4 people who voted for Biden want Medicare for all. And are voting for a candidate against it.

people are voting for face. And what is going to look best on a ballet. Either A

democratic socialist

or a moderate Democrat that one can argue is a light republican. He’s barely a progressive. And just like Clinton, he flipped flopped on a quarter of issues to appeal to Bernie people. Good luck. Honestly.

We were referring to the Black vote.

Yes, there are far more moderate Democrats and liberal Democrats than Democratic Socialists.

Biden is Democrat. Voters know fully well what they are voting for- a lifelong Democrat.

Of course you don’t miss them, because you never voted as a Democrat. You don’t vote here.
