It should be given to everybody so that the likelihood of the economy being bolstered by additional spending increases by as much as it possibly can. That said, with no end in sight to the virus, 1K per person in total isn't going to stimulate the economy enough just as the previous stimulus packages didn't work well enough. The only reasonable effort to stimulate the economy at this time and to ensure people follow directions from the CDC to limit the expansion of the virus is a temporary universal basic income of at least 1K per month per individual and potentially more for people with children. Yeah, I see what you mean. I just think we need to prioritize the people that need it to like literally survive VS the additional boost it gives the economy.
