BetrayedSTAN 1,839
I posted a thread with my former account in 28 January 2019 about how the next album could be about the "mitosis of the future" based on enigma .. and this is confirmed to be true in gaga's new interview with paper magazine... "In the Nick Knight-directed music video for Born This Way's title track, Gaga births a new, "infinite" race that "bears no prejudice, no judgment, but boundless freedom." As the character "Mother Monster," she's soaked in extraterrestrial pregnancy slime, living on G.O.A.T. (a "Government-Owned Alien Territory" in space), and describing the "mitosis of the future" in relation to her fantasy anti-hate militia. Nearly a decade later, Gaga now says "we're living in the future," which is why Chromatica — as a concept — feels like the result of every seed initially planted on that intergalactic G.O.A.T. " please read this thread .. and let me read what u think .
myusername 315
Videogames' impact in pop culture is a thing. In 2019 Red Dead Redemption 2 and its old west thematic were a massive trend and a massive trend needs a song to be its anthem and that was Old Town Road. Now in 2020 Chromatica and its futuristic style is for Cyberpunk 2077. btw i'm a big fan of the cyberpunk topic so i'm living for this. Archduchess 2
I always thought of Chromatica as a resumption of the born this way mythology The narrative of born this way ball, tha mother monster manifesto, it all fits in like the old and the new testment (of course the narrative is slightly discrepant) Chromatica is the fulfillment of Born This Way narrative, with different approaches but essentially the same
