julz 7,361
I take back my thread, this makes much more sense. And very, very timely! Vote 4 Gaga: https://mtv.com/event/vma/vote
johnwayne1993 295
THIS could be the one reason we may still get Chromatica on time, given the current circumstances. Not to say that she’ll play into the circumstance for promo, but use it to further spread her message of kindness and bringing joy and happiness through her music - in what is a dark time. My theory is if she does this she’ll spread the album cycle longer than planned, with more paced out singles/promo.

It is not a general 'kindness' quote - it is very specific and niche. 10 minutes ago, johnwayne1993 said: THIS could be the one reason we may still get Chromatica on time, given the current circumstances. She won't delay, since - in a strange way, as you say - now is THE perfect time for an album about global unity, which is perhaps why she is sharing her views with us on Instagram. Like, some monsters were finding it odd how we're a few weeks away from the album when Gaga herself isn't saying much about it. But, really, every caption about this pandemic is indirectly linked to the theme of Chromatica - which is reinforced, in all honesty, by how she's addressing the virus from the perspective of kindness, unity and love. subtext / fantasy
fivefoottwo 3,108
this is so beautiful and i think really captures the overarching theme of chromatica. there’s so much more about the album that’s yet to be seen! it really touches me personally because i chant the metta almost every morning so if the album is really tied around this concept it would be so personally engaging

I guess, even just the fact Gaga is aware of it, must make you feel pretty good. How awesome. subtext / fantasy

She remained silent about LG6 for ages, I admit I'm having a hard time imagining she'd just make an explicit reference like that.

I understand, lol, but in hindsight, she actually dropped a few, very obvious hints when we look back. The pink colour scheme, the kindness theme, the tutorial with Nikkie, Engima's art direction... there have been a few signs of LG6 that we weren't fully aware of at the time. subtext / fantasy

The kindness theme, I mean come on... she's been preaching this for nearly a decade. I don't get what you mean by Nikkie's tutorial, was there a hint in that? And Enigma's art direction? I truly used to believe Enigma was an introduction to the next era, but she made clear during the NRJ interview that Chromatica had nothing to do with Enigma. The only real identifiable hints were the pink color scheme and "Stupid Love" playing on her phone, I'm really not following you on the rest. Of course, more will appear as we discover more about the album, but right now, things aren't as obvious as you make them out to be. At least for me. julz 7,361
I also like the fact that she is not promoting her single and new album, like putting hashtags or putting in stupid love lyrics or whatever...in such inspiring posts or tweets. I know she wont really, but just saying. This makes the album, a "surprise" album..in a way.. because of the silent promo, silent for the general public.
