Paparazzi deserved so much more. Truly the masterpiece of The Fame as it blended more mature lyrics, her fatal attraction to fame, and electro pop sound. It was perfectly Gaga in a way that only Pokerface matched at that time except it was so well suited to the albums theme. The song, video, and VMA performance all deserve to be up in the EOG/Million Reasons/Telephone level of legendary. Will always wish she gave it more time and maybe we’d have had a Papa + Bara 1-1 chart run?

1. Paparazzi

2. Stupid Love

3. Monster

4. GUY

5. Government Hooker

6. Joanne

It’s too bad that the piano version of Joanne wasn’t the original / only version; obviously a bit on the long side for an album track, but the piano version is just so much more emotional and the soaring vocals would’ve made much more of a statement as a title track. The standard version’s vocals are so nasally and the song seems rushed.

GH seems to have so many fans, anyone care to elaborate on why? I don’t dislike it but the unconventional structure makes it feel a little repetitive.

On its own, Monster is fantastic. I wonder what the response would’ve been to it had it come as the follow up single to Paparazzi as intended? Was the “mah-mah” too overcooked by then?

Still don’t get the GUY hate and actually, besides being a bit loud, don’t know why it bombed. It brought a little bit of the camp from Venus, was sonically cohesive and reflective of the first singles and album, and I find it one of the less “scrappy” songs on AP. I liked that the title had a double meaning and that it fit into the song so well unlike, say, ARTPOP, where she literally just says the word between lines. Only issue for me is the pre-chorus that’s totally Alejandro’d.

Paparazzi is on my top3 of favorite Gaga tracks ever so it’s definitely on the top of this list

I’d say

1 Paparazzi

2 Government Hooker

3 GUY

I need more time with Stupid Love, it’s kinda of Same level of GUY but the GUY’s spoken intro and bridge slay harder

I mean, I’m pretty sure Paparazzi is considered more legendary than those tracks you have mentioned

Let's be honest, this is a legendary solid ranking. All of these songs can't be considered fillers, they are too essential for the album.

1. Paparazzi

2. Government Hooker

3. Stupid Love

4. Monster

5. G.U.Y.

6. Joanne
