VIP GA Experience

I got VIP GA tickets for the Fenway show!! I’m so excitedddd :woot:

I’ve actually never technically been GA, I kind of was at Mohegan for Joanne world tour but it was a totally different experience in a smaller venue.

Does anyone know anything about this VIP experience? Maybe from past tours, and other shows? I have some questions.

So on the site under the package it says Early entry and priority access to the it, what does priority access mean? Does this mean if I need to pee I can save my spot? :gum:

Yes this might be another obsession with peeing thread :madge:

Also, it says VIP concierge team and onsite hosts  What do these people do for you? Do they escort you out and back to your spot if you have to pee? :lolga: Okay, so I’m sure I’ll figure the peeing situation out. I’ll drink water in early day and an hour or two before I go in only have sips. But I’m honestly curious, what do these people do for you?

Im also curious about what the VIP GA or just GA I’m generel experience is like. Does it get tiring waiting in one spot? Or annoying? How can I prepare? If I’m early access how early do I usually have to show up? Will I be waiting in that one spot on the floor for a long time?

By the sound of this thread, you probably think I’m not cut out for this GA experience :messga: but honestly, I’ve never actually done this before so I have no clue what to expect. Once I’m there I will be fine, and Iran gonna be an awesome adventure. But to help me prepare, what can I kind of expect based off of some of your previous experiences?

Mohegan as in the casino? 👀 I was there for that one. Your package based off *my* past experiences with early entry ga is that you will line up separately from the GA standing. You will be let in about an hour early and run to the front row of the stage.

if you have to pee you will most likely not get your spot back. So i highly recommend you dont drink alcohol.

is it annoying? The wait kind if is tbh but you forget all about it once the rest of the crowd start to fill up behind you and make friends.

Guys, I’m honestly really tired of seeing jokes about this virus. I understand it’s a big things right now, but it should not be to the point where it is consuming every single part of this website. My thread doesn’t have to do with the virus, I had questions about the concert and the package I purchased. I understand if you want to discuss it in another thread, especially if your nervous and need to reach out to someone. But this is not the thread to be discussing it, and definitely not joking about it. Honestly, I think Gagasaily should start giving out warning point for discussing it in threads that have absolutely nothing to do with it. We are letting it consume us to much. Let’s discuss the positives guys!

I had the GA VIP at JWT in Montreal (I guess there were a lot of differences but still)

We arrived at like 9 in the morning to have the best places possible. We lined up all day... and then the show was cancelled 10 minutes before doors opened :poot: but then when we went back we did the same thing and got to enter before everyone, INCLUDING for the merch boots inside the venue. Basically, we had a dedicated corridor to wait inside, while normal GA waited outside at the main door. When we entered and went to buy merch we could see them outside the door.

As far as I remember this part is quite long, you get at least 20 minutes if not more to buy your stuff and go back in line, because the security is having a meeting before opening the doors and stuff.

Then they make you go inside the actual venue and you get to snatch the first rows in the pit, but at our show the normal GA entered like 10 minutes after (although in minuscule waves, and that lasted for dozens of minutes), so you still gotta be quick. But we were surprised because VIPs took about 3-4 full rows, so you can definitely get a very good placement in the pit if you don’t have VIP and wait early enough.

Thats about it I think, besides the fact they hand you whatever 10$ worth of merch accessories they went with for the package :ally:

Thank you for your response! Yes I did go to the Mohegan Sun show in Connecticut! It was so amazing. I actually had a crazy experience because they mixed up my package with another and I got a free backstage tour, got to touch her mic pole, and saw soundcheck and met her dancers backstage ! Lol. And I had a seat in the pit next to the piano but that venue is so small I got to run around the whole floor and he didn’t Row almost the whole time. Honestly, it was the best experience I’ve had seeing her so far. I love how intimate that venue is. I’m so excited fur my hue febwat show. I’ll make sure I don’t drink a lot of water before going in lol

Wait so your show got cancelled? I’m so sorry to hear that. Did u say you back back for the rescheduled date though? If I read that right.

Thank you for all of that info though! I greatly appreciate it! How long did u have to wait for the show to start?

Yeah, the first JWT date in Montreal was canceled right before the door opened, because of her pneumonia. We could hear her singing inside sometimes during the day, I remember hearing she was trying her hardest all day to make it but the doctor wasn’t convinced and told her to let go. So yeah, pretty sucky situation but we made it to the postponed date so we kinda forgot about it :poot:

I remember waiting at least an hour once inside the actual venue (the pit). She was late that evening but I think it’s pretty standard for her and artists in general to always be 1H+ late? But yeah it was a pretty long wait especially after waiting all day lol.

Do note that in the VIP corridor you can totally sit and move tho! At our show there were a bunch of long-time monsters who had set up a system of numbered bracelets that they gave you when you arrived. That way you could keep your place even if you moved around. But if you’re with a friend that’s not even needed tbh, someone can just stay at your spot.

Waiting in the corridor is actually very fun and cozy (well, as cozy as sitting on the floor for a whole day gets :ladyhaha:), we ordered food and set up a little area on the floor to hang out, etc. You can bring pillows and stuff if you have someone who’s willing to come take them back before the show starts. But it’s a very fun part of it, we were talking with monsters and listening to Gaga music on a speaker, doing makeup, etc!

The only part where you wait standing is inside the venue, so maybe 1-2 hours total max? But even then you can sit in the pit lol. It’s weird because everyone around you stays standing but as long as you make yourself small it’s not much of a problem

EDIT : If you’re real lucky and have the same bracelet system as we did, you can actually even leave the venue for a bit. I remember they told us it was ok if we went for a dinner break. They just said to try to keep it at 1H max cause it would be hard to keep the system working if everyone was always gone

I’m so glad to hear you made it to the postponed show! I actually remember when she cancelled that show. Omg and I remember fans singing to her when she was on her balcony with her anime phone case, makes me realize she’s been inspired by anime for a while now! That’s also pretty cool you heard her rehearse too

so what your saying is once they let you into the venue for early access you had an hour or two until show time? That’s not bad at all. So the coorider is like a waiting room almost? That sounds like a lot of fun. So if you had to leave to use the restroom you were able to? Even if you had a friend save your spot was it hard to get back through the crowd to yours spot? Was this in an arena or a stadium? I’m sorry I have so many questions. I really appreciate You helping and sharing your experience

That happened to me too! Wanted regular GA and it said not available, but then I saw people get that after I purchased mine.

high culture

I got early entry GA for the artRave and 30 minutes later everyone else walked in after and had the same view as me so it amounted to a couple extra hundred dollars for a hardcover tour book lol I’ve just done standard GA ever since
