I can always count on you to have exquisite taste. You can call Ariana so many things but unseasoned? She's probably the most talented vocally of this current generation. The harmonies and melodies on Sweetener and TU,N don't lie. She literally produced a choir arrangement on GIAW with only her voice.

Yes, it was lacking. I completely agree with everything you said btw. I think you can definitely tell it’s the same small group of people doing all her work and she’s not being challenged or stretched or lifted to greater heights. I got that vibe from the documentary too her team just reassure her and do what they’re told.

And like you say, it’s not for lack of ideas. The concept behind the video is genius but the execution is lacking, the creative decisions made are lacklustre. I think we saw a creative peak with ASIB because she worked with so many new people outside her usual circle. I think her passion for pop has faded though I don’t see that fire in her eyes.

I remain open minded and look forward to the album, but this POP comeback of freakin’ Lady GAGA has been, as a die hard fan, a non-event and underwhelming to say the least.

Weird people are saying she's lost interest in pop and is lacking that "fire" but she's taking ice baths in the desert to film pop videos that could easily be filmed in well air-conditioned studios with green screen. She's literally creating a new world "Chromatica" if that's not fire then I must be an idiot. 

EDIT: And I'm not saying you have to love everything she does because you don't. But Gaga is far from "bored" or "lazy" like some of y'all are trying to insinuate.

This can be our last pop era and album and you're complaining about the song and music video. Little Monsters will never be satisfied. 

Stupid Love is a song created with no purpose to shock the public or fans, it is a song made for fun and dancing, without paying much attention to the lyrical content present in the song.  

The music video was recorded on an iPhone, therefore, you should not leave your expectations in the car, as we would know that it would not be something great, but it has a great concept.

Just look at how the atmosphere  of Just Dance and Stupid Love are parallel: "fun".

Let's be honest though you can't state an opinion on GGD no matter how constructive or thoughtful it is without this happening and I don't think that's ever changing its been this way since I joined. I appreciate you stating your opinions without being rude though constructive and destructive aren't things certain fans can tell the difference between.
