Because of you and your amazing dedication to my music and certain memes that’s been going around today () the music video for “This Is How You Love Somebody” has surpassed 300 views and is already almost up to 350! For a little insight on the song, I wrote this about all the media and friends judging you and telling you how you should love, who you should love, how you should act, what you need to look like. This whole song is basically one long statement someone who’s confirmed to society’s standards is saying to someone who’s different or doesn’t really fit a certain category. That’s kind of what the whole video is like, for almost the whole song I’m stuck in my house, talking to people and friends giving “love advice.” Till at the end when I start doing “weird” stuff like pretending to be part of a barbershop quartet and singing to myself with a brush in the bathroom. I realize life is just more than staying in a box and sticking with what I’m only comfortable with doing instead of growing and expanding my knowledge and seeing that my actions also affects other people around me too. So at the end, I finally get up, and go outside, leaving the house, the comfort zone, and on the other side of the door, is a free open world, as it rains down a rejuvenating rainfall of freedom.
