Dancers for the tours?

random thing I’ve always wondered:

rewatching gagachella videos this morning……did all the dancers and band and orchestra members from the promotional tour run return for the mayhem ball? i feel like there must’ve been a few less dancers but i can’t identify any missing between gagachella videos / mayhem ball videos. and there was no orchestra at all at the ball right? like no violin or anything.

if some dancers didn’t join the tour, i wonder how that was decided. what an awkward convo.

I don't know about who stayed or didn't but festival performances and tours are all probably handled by contracts, so you aren't guaranteed to do more after the contract ends. Plus that gives dancers and crew the ability to find work elsewhere. Of course it's better to work with the same people so they probably try to get most everyone back.

yeah i feel like they needed less dancers for the tour due to the stage size?
