ARTPOP tour should have Gaga spending a little bit longer in Europe and America, touring them as she travels to promote singles.

Single 1:

20 dates in North America

Single 2:

30 dates across Europe

Single 3:

20 dates in North America

Single 4:

20 dates in Europe

Volume 2:

Single 1:

20 dates in Australia/Asia

Single 2:

10 stadium shows in Europe

Single 3:

2 South Africa, 5 Stadiums in South America

Single 4:

30 shows in NA and Canada

Close the tour at the Yankee Stadium.

158 shows, album and single promo promotes the tour and hypes people up for it like with TMB, no Madonna trailing, tickets on sale for at least 5 months, arenas in smaller countries, stadiums first in bigger countries but also arenas if they sellout the stadium, then go back for more arenas with jacked up prices.

Then we have a winner.

one blanket price per country... obviously higher in South America and Russia like with TBTWB, all venues of 20k or above, 20 of these venues will bring in over 50k... I worked it out to being a gross of over 400M if she sells out every venue, depending on the capacity of the bigger venues.

IMO she should aim to emulate the monster ball tour in terms of timetable and stuff, even amount of dates... ok, maybe chop off 20 or so, but with the jacked up prices and bigger venues, she could be looking at a ridiculous gross.

Did she make more in Stade De France with BTWB or did she make more going to france a bunch of times with the monster ball? Perhaps it'd be more profitable to do the stadium and follow it a few months later with a couple of arena dates for good measure.

I am a huge M fan and she remains #1 in my books but in all honesty my BTWB experience in Paris was more fun as a concert experience than both of my MDNA experiences in NY and Miami, Gaga had the Crowd was on their feet screaming and dancing from beginning to end. Was pure fun and she really engaged and drew the audience in.

MDNA is superior in terms of production and visuals and Madonna is a master on stage but the set list is pretty dismal and seems to sap the energy and enthusiasm out the crowd . The show runs on autopilot and there is little room for spontaneity and few moments for her to engage with the audience . So many people remained seated for most of the show and just did not seem to get into it or connect. :noparty:

Just my humble opinion. Sold out or not I suspect Latin america are likely to favor the BTWB in the end which is really all that matters.

THANK GOD! That's what I was talking about all the fuking time. It's about quality of the show, not about YAS SELLING OUT SLAY or OMFG FLOPGA SELLS MORE THEN FLOPDONNA or FLOPDONNA SELLS MORE THEN FLOPGA FLOPPPPPPPPPPPPP.

And people in this thread need to SIT and STOP acting like they are in charge of Gaga's current/next tour, planning all these 158/230/890/7564 dates. I'm so done with the anger in this thread about "FLAWPING HARDER THAN ANYONE" and delusion.

Both are promoted by Live nation and had equal publicity. . .the reality- Madonna has 30+ years worth of fans in south america who in some places have never seen her perform live. regardless of when the tickets went on sale she is going to be the bigger draw.

Its not as though Gaga isn't doing extremely well for an artist that is only 4 years into her career and could well be on track to match Madonnas numbers or even surpass her especially if her new album soars. It already happened in Chile.

Have no idea who are you, but I love you.

Most people see Gaga and Madonna as individual artists that bring completely different concert experiences to the table and their own unique talent which appeal to some and others not so much. There may be some talk of similarities but they are not interchangeable.

The bulk of the concertgoers are casual fans who decide whether to see them perform based on interest , personal taste and expected return on their money spent. Nothing more nothing less. Same criteria we use to decide on a Britney, Rihanna, Shakira or a Pink concert. Its not a competition . Besides, they can ALL coexist and be successful without diminishing each others success , there are enough fans to go around and share for that matter!.

For those of you that believe that the measure of their success is reflected by the amount of people that attend their concerts , then consider that their ability to grow artistically, stay ahead of the curve and keep us interested, as well as exposure play a huge role in determining if they continue to fill arenas or stadiums ........ if they fall short, then perhaps they may have to work a little harder to peak our interest and promote themselves...its called artistic growth

Madonna's concert bears no correlation to Gaga's attendance figures and if i were Gaga, I would be insulted by the notion that some fans see it that way or feel somehow that she has underperformed!

All I want is Gaga to comeback to South America

She said every time she tours she will come back to Argentina... :creepflop:

She better keep that promise...

IA. Madonna has a much older demographic. Her sales don't impact Gaga's. That is an insult to think as such.

It's insulting to suggest Gaga only has fans that are young and Madonna only has fans that are older.

You're being constantly reductive, you are tremendously illogical with every statement and you should probably just leave forever.

You are wrong.

In one country there's a percentage of people who would attend a show. Inside that percentage are the people that can afford it. Inside THATpercentage is a very very small percentage that would be able to afford both shows.

Basically, most people, almost all, have to choose Madonna OR Gaga.

You assume that the majority of concertgoers who saw Madonna also had an interest in seeing Gaga . There are many factors at play . As I said before the two are not interchangeable and it is presumptuous of you to conclude that they share the same fans.

I agree. why would you assume that most fans will have to choose? thats like saying gaga fans and madonna fans have to like the other artist which is stupid..
