hausofandrew 105
Not to bring up Madonna for the sake of it, but Gaga performed at the exact same stadium as Madonna, with a larger stage, and sold 5,000 more tickets. Both artists teams claim their shows soldout. Many Madonna fans claim that Gaga's shows didn't really sellout and that they are claiming less tickets are available then there actually were. Kind of the pot calling the kettle black. And speaking of pots and kettles, I just spilled some tea :trootea: :trootea: :trootea: :trootea: TBH Little Medoners are just mad that Gaga is that big after only 5 years in the industry. Rainbow Unicorn 82
I agree. And Madonna fans claim Billboard is a pro-Gaga because they always report sold-out shows. Do they know it's the same thing with Madonna ? And Madonna didn't sell-out all of her shows ! Only five or six shows were really sold-out for the European leg. Her tour was a fiasco in some countries (like Sweden, Belgium, France...). She used discount and free tickets for Edinburgh, Nice, Gothenburg, etc and RIO DE JANEIRO. Then, if Billboard is a pro-Gaga, it's probably a pro-Madonna too.

Griffin 6
Both tours did not reach the expectations in some places. If Jakarta was not cancelled, Nice, Bucharest + Sofia downgraded and the South American leg not discounted she would've hit $200mil by Montréal. But I understand there needed to be more demand there for that to happen. I'm just saying, if it went exactly as planned.

drinkmytears 2,332
Both tours did not reach the expectations in some places. I disagree. The tour performed as it was expected considering the fact that virtually no promo was done for the tour and it was supporting a 1-2 year(s) old album. For a first time performing there it was really underperformed : Mexico City / 37,260 / $2,666,269 / $71,5 Rio de Janeiro / 26,167 / $2,218,846 / $84,7 Porto Alegre / 9,918 / $923,379 / $93,1 Lima / 36,163 / $1,732,732 / $47,9 Asuncion / 26,481 / $1,107,371 / $41,8 Also in Eastern Europe : Sofia / 8,705 / $486,708 / $55,9 Bucharest / 22,605 / $627,303 / $27,7 Riga / 12,974 / $587,997 / $45,3 Tallinn / 16,191 / $1,011,992 / $62,5 Nice / 13,169 / $1,088,012 / $82,6 This is the worst boxscore data of the tour but just show that somewhere she really underperformed.
