Jake 0
Is the US really the richest country in the world? I thought China or Japan had us beat, but we are one of the world's largest music markets so it should be easy for Gaga to sell out arenas here when she has done so before. Gurl please. The US' GDP is easily the highest in the world. Red white and blu forever y'all :derpga:

US #1 overall GDP, but fall to #7 GDP per capita. I find GDP per capita more accurate. Japan and China aren't on the list for top 10 in GDP per capita. Ironically, those who pick on socialist countries, Norway is #4 GDP per capital! Well, that's what I thought, that Gaga would be sold out in US, but the update page showed LA at less than 90%, WTF? Any country's per capita would drop signifgantly if it has over 100 million citizens. It's still easily the richest country in the world. She's selling slow because she lost a lot of ground with Born This Way, not because people can't afford her tickets. Her momentum is back on the upswing though. Hopefully this tour will have everyone here prepared to buy ARTPOP.

Yes, but China is #2, and there's SO much poverty (saw people washing laundry in the dirty polluted river of QongQing and this is the rich touristy section). But, yes, US is wealthy, so we need to spend the money on Gaga tickets!

HOTRODSGAGA 81
Did TMB have more or less shows in the US?
HOTRODSGAGA 81
Way more. The Monster Ball even had 3 US Legs I just saw it on wiki and they said 119 shows. I really hope Gaga can earn more this time in the US considering there is a difference of like, 80 shows. It would be really great.
hausofandrew 105
Hundreds of people are last minute ticket buyers, tons of people buy tickets at arenas/stadiums box offices before the show, so we don't have to worry about sold out shows, because Gaga gets packed arenas anyways. I'm glad that seems the case, I've never been a concert goer, so I have no clue. Do we know if Tacoma has officially, officially sold out?
