JPM 781
we'll never outgross the monsterball, anyway, good numbers, especially from canada.

Pop Muse Tumblr 1
Justin bieber played to 14500 at the rose garden back in october 2012. AND grossed $200k more than gaga. Also played to 20000 people at tacoma dome and grossed more. -_- In hindsight, gaga performing for 17000 in barcelona and grossing more than $100 per person is amazing (granted it was the only spanish date). These are the kind of figures i hope for the rest of the us leg- more than $1.3m gross per show, more than 11000 attendance per show. No more 6000, 8000 like nice, bulgaris and portland! ARTPOPART 241
yeah the portland date definitely wasn't sold out, that arena even with the huge stage has got to be more than 8,000 people. I dont think Tacoma was sold out either Not sure about Portland, i looked at the figures for Britney and her Femme Fatale Tour : Femme Fatale Tour "Rose Garden Portland 7,718 / 8,717 (89%) $513,297" Born This Way Ball "Rose Garden Portland 8,853 So it was really close to sold out. Hamlet 67
we'll never outgross the monsterball, anyway, good numbers, especially from canada. I think it´s gonna be close to the MB Ball gross though. If she had 8 or 10 more shows she would´ve probably outgross it.

bumblebee 2,528
Pretty fine for the start. 64 557 tickets bringing $ 6,439,663. It's almost safe to assume she is heading towards passing the $200 M gross landmark for a second time in a row. I don't think, honestly, that reaching the Monster Ball gross is a realistic chance now, but I think that's OK since she is playing like 80 less shows and performing to app. 450,000-500,000 less people. We should pay attention to the fact that if the Born This Way Ball surpasses $200 M gross Lady Gaga will become the second female artist (after Madonna ) to have two tours to pass $200 M in gross. Here is the list of the acts with multiple over-200M-tours in the music industry: The Rolling Stones - 3 U2 - 2 Madonna - 2 Bruce Springsteen - 2 Bon Jovi - 2 If the Born This Way Ball gets through the $200 M, Lady Gaga will join this elite club after 4 full years in the headlining touring business. Amazing! Springsteen will also place his third over-200M tour after he wraps the Wrecking Ball Tour (it's currently at 190M), and Bon Jovi might get another 200M-grosser with "Because We Can Tour". rph99 38
Portland flopped considering she had 13,000 people attend for the monster ball.

Griffin 6
@nick4bty sorry, can't quote i'm on mobile The capacity are less because the show aren't really REALLY sold out... And the born this way ball is now the #24 of the list of highest grossing tours! Not true. The capacity is less because around 1/3 of the seating is removed, and part of the GA is impeded by the monster pit and large stage. The capacity's used in the OP are based on sporting/basketball games, which is inaccurate in our case.

Capacity for Tacoma Dome is 20k with big stage.. Roger Water's stage is 94878294789272x bigger than Gaga's and he has sold 19k in that venue... hausofandrew 105
Can you shut up already? Arena's capacity depends on the stage size. The Monster Ball stage was twice smaller.
