Guest
are you guys sure? look at the prices: http://www.viagogo.c...727RF240F3A4A32 What about 'em? You did see that they are selling Gaga tickets for like 6x those prices? They offered Gaga tickets for like over a $1000 and are still offering tickets for $600 to $750 for some of Gaga's shows this tour. Also, they are NOT official ticket sellers. If demand was really that high they would be charging way more for those tickets. Edited November 16, 2012 by BadMonster
jhonyguy04 3
Where did you get this from? I read the article and interest got tripled, but if the interest was lower from the start it's still not higher for her than for Gaga and Madonna. The only way to determine if she's really more in demand is to see how her tickets sell. Come tomorrow, just remember that Gaga sold out Twickenham in 50 seconds and it's really admirable that she achieved that. To me music is about the music, live performances and critical reception and with Gaga we get good music and performances that are a product of herself. Music is not about the gross and demand. Are you also pressed that Taylor Swift sold out a stadium show of 55.000 in under 10 minutes in Massachusetts, USA, and has added a second show there? from atrl http://www.digitalspy.com/music/news/a438420/rihannas-uk-stadium-tour-expected-to-sell-out-quickly.html
Guest
from atrl http://www.digitalsp...ut-quickly.html Yes I'd read that article, but nowhere does it say that the demand is three times higher for Rih than for Madonna or Gaga. The demand increase is three times higher, but the demand could have been much lower to begin with. Selling out Twickenham in six minutes, as they are projecting, would mean she's six times less in demand than Gaga going by that logic. Also it is strange to compare her to Madonna and Gaga at the same time, as Gaga sold out her Twickenham show in 50 seconds, added extra seats to that show and added a second show on top of that, while Madonna couldn't fill Hyde Park, which has a smaller capacity. Therefore demand for Gaga was higher than for Madonna, which makes this comparison ridiculous and inaccurate. TheMadridHash 4
well hasn't rihanna like been si goood in the UK, it's not surprising really... anyway, rihanna's not doing better than gaga in europe tho... she is just doing 4 stadium shows in this european leg and it looks like they don't have that whole lot of 2nd dates planned for a lot of those arena dates since they planned for most shows 1 day of gap besides, big artists have Worldwide acceptance gaga is doing a tour all over the place and is doing GREAT, i'd love to see Rihanna going to South Africa or Tayllor swift going to ASIA i mean, how embarrasing would that be and yes, some people would say that gaga is not doing good in latin america but she had NEVER toured the region and she had a time coincidence with the biggest solo touring artist ever(madonna) in the same region AND EVEN facing that she chose to do a Full Stadium leg,
superman 32
well in latin america she s doing fine.with crowds more than 30 000 to each date in average its fine.in major cities like sao paulo and buenos aires she slays.she s building her reputation there for the next tour, and yes madonna touring there did damage gaga s sales because the mdna tickets were on sale months before gagas. hausofandrew 105
I am pressed. Rihanna is doing triple as good as Lady Gaga and Madonna in the UK, and almost all her US tour dates are sold out, and her tour doesn't start till 3-4 months.... More than half of RIhanna's tour dates in America are far from sold out, hun.
