JPM 781
look honey, they are giving free tickets away, right, that's normal, this a stadium, i'm sorry but when madonna gave away 10 000 tickets in portugal no one mentioned it, now when gaga has such expensive tickets everybody's like, look she's flopping, im sorry but chile isn't the greatest economical power, in the world, how it happened the tickets to cost like 2 electric bills? Rollercoaster 2
The tickets there are still expensive at 2 for 1. The price of 1 is more than the price of 2 in some venues. The gross is fine, if anything, the thing for concern is 0 NA stadiums.

hausofandrew 105
It doesn't? I didn't know that :O I just said this because an user did an a--lysis of the ticket prices two months ago and he said that Chile was one of the most expensive dates. How much cost the Moscow tickets? $100-$2500
jhonyguy04 3
227m is actual gross, TMB's gross is 235m because of inflation. She just need to surpass 227m Yeah but technically TMB would be 235 today. So that is what she has to surpass. look honey, they are giving free tickets away, right, that's normal, this a stadium, i'm sorry but when madonna gave away 10 000 tickets in portugal no one mentioned it, now when gaga has such expensive tickets everybody's like, look she's flopping, im sorry but chile isn't the greatest economical power, in the world, how it happened the tickets to cost like 2 electric bills? I would love receipts for that Madonna Portugal giveaway. It's funny how the media ignores that....

Rollercoaster 2
I still don't understand why there aren't any.... i think it's concern over the weather, although she could've done an indoor stadium... but perhaps it's also concern over being able to sell out in a stadium in the US because BTW was slated by the GP and she's not promoting anything to get attention for the tour right now. I personally think she should've planned a January release of the ARTPOP lead single to promote the crap out of the tour and get it in a stadium. I think it's a time of year issue more than anything. Silly LiveNation. Didn't the tour start in April? she should've started out in Europe, then NA & Canada towards the autumn months, then moved into touring the southern hemisphere as it changed to the warmer months there, and as the tour wraps up in spring, go perform in Asia, and finish up in NA again. They could've chased the sun with this tour to ensure the correct weather as much as they could, but also it would've assured a little more for time off school/work etc for availability of audience. Where did you hear about the giveaway in Portugal? I know they gave away a load of tickets free in Edinburgh and have routinely lowered prices at alot of shows from 2009 forwards as the gig nears. drinkmytears 2,332
Next tour should be announced after 5 top ten hits, at least two number ones, maybe after an amazing Grammy performance. She should announce 10 stadiums in Europe, 10 in North America, and some in South America, big arenas in Australia, and stadiums in Asia. After they sell well she should then announce the remaining hundred or so arenas.
JPM 781
well, pps from atrl were saiying that madonna gave away 10 000 in portugal via radio games, etc. you will never find a confirmation about this stuff, just like you will never known how much free tickets were given for gaga's concert tomorrow, people were saying this + a portuguese monster here on GGD told that gaga wont perform in portugal because madonna flopped with her concert after ended up giving away 10 000 tickets, i've not made it up btw: i never knew that madonna give away free tickets in edinburgh and that she lowers the prices, but she certainly gave away free tickets in Nice and she didn't even ended up having a sold out show like the previous times she was touring nice... but madonna certainly gave a LOT of free tickets this time and no one reported such thing, media focuses on gaga too much. and it's reasonable, both madge's and gaga's tickets cost a lot, madge's cost more of course, but we can't really compare madge and gaga right now
