Dangerous Man

I felt bad for some Latin dates. Her team might thought to limit her dates there next time they do a tour.

I think for the UK she could perform at Wembley, Old Trafford & Edinburgh. No reason to go back to the south when she's got as far as Manchester.

I do think that the next tour will begin during ARTPOP volume 2. Which will make ticket sales easier. I think they will announce all dates at once for stadiums and if they sell out then they will add an arena date for the country or a stadium at the other end of the country.

I think the best plan is not to stay in one place for too long. Maybe do 4 Europe shows followed by 3 SA shows and 5 na shows then back to Europe. If it's done like that there's a sense of urgency. She won't be back for a while to each country lol

180 shows over 15 months

App releases new tracks after the 2nd volume has ended. These tracks get iTunes release too.

Hit the biggest stadiums in the world after releasing the best single from ARTPOP.

Give everyone a lot of time to save money and buy tickets

I think performing at festival slots during the tour would also be amazing promo. Just 2 festivals like Glastonbury and a performance out of her comfort zone at bennicassim or at an Ibiza club.

I need the tour to constantly evolve like tmb rather than feeling constipated like the btwb. Even if this means starting off only performing the hits, vol 1 and vol 2 singles and later including all vol 2 tracks. Change the stage a bit, overhaul the setlist every now and then... play a random song on piano. Whatever, just keep it moving.

Make it a marathon rather than a sprint. Perform lots of shows over a long period but take it over time. Aim to perform to as many people as possible. There's even the possibility of getting to 180 dates then doing an arena tour of each country to hardcore fans. That could take it over 200 shows easily and get her up at the top of the list for gross. She could top U2 if she were to do 3 types.

Huge stadium tour - in nonflop countries perform one or two shows in their biggest stadium.

Stadiums - performing everywhere in stadiums and allowing 6 months for tickets. Do this during a single release. It will go like btwb and cover majority of the tour.

Arena - when we reach show 180 the shows are continuing due to fan demand. The tour covers the most successful stadium countries with arena dates " just for fans" which take the tour to 220 shows in total.

Finish the tour with a 5 stadium sprint. Hit the biggest stadiums over the world and finish at Yankee.

This !!!! :worship:

Costa Rica

East: 4306 (Highway Unicorn packages sold out)

South: 1186

West: 5418

Standing: 9383 + 5553 = 14936 (Government Hooker packages sold out)

Total: 25846

It's strange, suddenly a lot more tickets available at the east side and a lot less at the west side since the last time I checked

Watching Madonna's map of tickets at Mexico I realised that is just not a good season to tour here. Her tickets have been available 3 months before Gaga's and she's barely selling. I know that eventually it will sell more, but it's still a poor performance so far.

Stop blaming BTW, Gaga or the show. These are expensive shows that many people can't afford very easily.

Costa Rica tickets sold like crazy now.. 450 ticks sold in 24 hours and day by day even more in total..just in 4 hours already sold 150.. i think that 15.000-17.000 will be the audience for that show and its quite very good for that country and a pop show when rock shows get an audience of 20.000

No tour's total gross will top the 360 Tour's for a long time. And it likely won't be Gaga's that does it.

The 360 tour was so successful because U2 are obviously an extremely well-established band with countless hits from the past couple of decades AND because the structure of their stage allowed them to increase the possible capacity of a venue by up to 25% more than a show with a regular stage set-up - like Gaga's.

People willing to pay a LOT of money to see U2 + capacity for more people to fit in the stadium = 360's success.

They averaged more than $7m per show on that tour, Gaga has a long long way to go until she can achieve those kind of numbers.

The 220 date tour that I suggested would top it. It's all about timing and strategy.

Your strategy is a nice idea but you haven't really considered everything. There is a reason stadium giants like AC/DC, The Rolling Stones and Madonna haven't even come close to U2's $736m total. ARTPOP would have to be astronomically successful for enough people to take such an interest that they would pay enough money for it to top that.

The BTWB is predicted to do about $300m. You really think she can suddenly double that and more with one album?

Filling stadiums is a big feat for any artist, especially a pop singer that hasn't been around for long at all. Her touring success so far has been crazy but she just won't top the 360 Tour with ARTPOP's tour.

I don't see why not. Obviously it's a stretch but if the tour hits stadiums where they are guaranteed to sell out and then come back for an arena tour... why wouldn't it? Gaga fans are nuts, she could sell out the o2 arena in London 20 times in a row with no trouble at all. That ensures growing gross for the tour after the main part of the stadium tour is done. These fans will have been to the stadium as well as the arenas weren't announced until stadiums sold out.

I don't know if I'm explaining it right lol but it would work. Gaga would be performing from her sick bed because of exhaustion... but you live and die for the fame I guess.

I think 20 times in a row is a huge exaggeration. Obviously she could sell out initial dates in no time but the more dates that get added, her visit becomes less of a novelty so there's less of a rush for people to get tickets. Same logic applies to multiple stadium dates.

This is the reason that older acts sell better, because adults who have grown up listening to them go for the nostalgic factor AND because it is a rarer event that they tour VS Gaga and other newer artists who tour every year. Plus the large majority of Gaga fans are teenagers who simply would not have £1000 (and that's being generous) to go and see her 20 times at the O2.

I've been compiling random lists of tour dates (with some more stadiums then last time, but nothing too drastic for the most part. Average is around 20,000), and I can really only come up with around 90 dates. For every arena she plays, she'd perform at two stadiums (roughly). None of them are huge stadiums.

Gaga is at her best in front of like 19,000-30,000 people I think. I want it to be her 'signature'.
