Banning people from entering or leaving the country when the virus is already there and spreading rapidly without them even testing people is so stupid and so ignorant. Also let’s nit mention the thousands of americans who are in Europe rn and who literally have no idea about how they’ll come back to their country. Their stay is limited and their costs will be doubled. Even their stay at hotels is questionable. It's not only about stoping the virus to spread in the US but also to prevent it to spread more rapidly worldwide. To be clear I don't think trump is standing out as tactical genius with this decision, I'm just saying that limiting human travels is the best way to prevent the virus to spread worldwide.
