If they start doing this permanently, it would transform the education system and students would have more time to work in between. They should also be able to record it so they can learn within their own time. 

They should start letting students stop picking useless electives as well.

This is both good and bad news. Good that it brings efficiency and saves time and effort. 

Bad that this is a huge starting point where we would slowly be like robots and away from social life. Not a good sign for people with mental health issues. One day we all will be like robots.

The entire student body is scrabling now to pack up. Plus we have midterms, senior theses, etc. And everything we were planning for (social events, concerts and performances, sports), are all cancelled. I feel especially bad for the seniors because their senior spring is literally cancelled and they might not even get a graduation ceremony.

In my country all school and colleges are taking a 5-week break

I wonder how they'll handle exams that aren't usually MCQ because my university's moving to online classes for the time being and I can't see myself doing a physics exam through MCQ.

I work for a college and there currently transitioning regular classes to online, majority of the colleges where I live are already doing this but I still have to go to work until further notice. 
 

i had so many projects yesterday that were due in the upcoming weeks to be safe Incase my campus closes so hopefully people are taking precautions to stay healthy and aware!
