Even though Gaga may have lost some momentum with BTW being a lead single after hits like BR, Telephone and Alejandro(in Europe) and now the GP really don't expect s.th. from Gaga and If her lead single is something megga catchy and innovative i think she can have her 3rd Mega hit after PF and BR :)  or maybe fourth after JD PF Telephone and BR :) or maybe fifth after JD PF Telephone BR and BTW but anyway ... I want 10 million + WW for the lead

I don't understand why this board is so caught up in Born This Way's "terrible" singles.  Yes, everyone loves Bad Romance and Poker Face.  But from what I understand, everybody loves The Edge of Glory too.  It didn't sale as much, but that hardly an indicator of people's opinion of the song.  Certain songs just hit a note with people and send sales skyrocketing.  TEOG didn't hit that note right, but it's still adored by people in the US.  It's a very memorable song that will stick with her discography.

I'm not trying to single you out in saying this, but why are a lot of people completely okay with her flopping with the last few singles? I'd rather her have three or four hit singles than have three or four hit singles and two or three flop singles. That way, the lead single of the next era can ride off the success of the previous one, sort of like Bad Romance and Born This Way did.

Because artists usually don't have as many hits as Gaga has. Let's take Rihanna as an example. Despite of having her biggest hit so far (WFL) during this era, the Talk That Talk era had You Da One which peaked at 14, then Talk That Talk (song) which peaked at 31. Afterwards, Birthday Cake peaked at 24. Then she had a decent hit with WHYB, and finally, Cockiness failed to enter BB Hot 100. Yet, nobody cares that she had 3 big flops and (according to LM's standards) an underperforming single.

Marry the Night peaked at 29 and Gaga has been crucified ever since; she suddenly became the a fading star, and suddenly nobody cares about her anymore. I do like success, and I wish Gaga was the top singer forever, but the standards within this fanbase are just too excessive. Some of you guys are saying that if she doesn't get 4 top 10 songs during the ARTPOP era, her label won't invest on her shows and all that stuff, yet they seem to forget that MDNA sold only 12 copies, yet the tour to support that album is still one of the most ambitious shows in the current market.

I understand all that, and I know Interscope won't drop GaGa just because of a flop single or two (or three or four and so on), but you have to admit that it would be better if she released fewer singles and they were all hits than if she released half the album and only one or two were hits. I know Rihanna and some other artists do it (I'm looking at you, Nicki), but I think it's ridiculous that they do it, too.

I NEED YOUR LOVE GOES FOR ADDS ON APRIL 2ND http://www.allaccess.com/top40-mainstream/future-releases

SLAY ME ELLIE AND CALVIN!

Just FYI everyone, but Nick and I needed to throw our undies in the washer

mmh, the song is good, but I'm not sure if it will perform well

The fact it's his 4th US single will probably hurt it. We all know 4th and 5th singles aren't usually chart toppers. I have a feeling and hope it will be at least top 20 :)

Wow, JMGAR really jumped in the last day. Radio airplay is gaining slowly but steadily and the video is also doing well. This has hit single written all over it.

And Feel This Moment up to #6 . . . I just can't.  This actually has a chance to reach #1. YES. Goes to show that people are still here for Xtina - they just don't like any of the music she releases.

I don't think anyone is here for Xtina. The public has always been here for Pitbull.
