As for the race between the Hot 100's top two songs this week, "Shake" easily outpaces "Shop" with slightly more than three-and-a-half the chart points total of the latter, a difference similar to last week. "Shake" drops by 3% in overall points, while "Shop" falls by 7%.

:wtfga:

While "Shake" was originally released on the independent Mad Decent label, major label Warner Bros. this week announced that it's now promoting the song to radio, likely upping its chances for more widespread airplay going forward.

I'm very sad because I don't know if Gaga will be able to do very well with her new singles... :(

I'm sure she will... She's even emphasized the catchy and fresh aspect of ARTPOP.

Wow, what's the deal with Rihanna's Stay drop? Is it because of YouTube views?

HS is freefalling on iTunes and is nowhere on radio yet, ridiculous for it to have such a lead. If this keeps up, it'll be out of the top 10 on iTunes within a few days and will likely still be #1 next week.

Definitely. Is top 5 in digital songs and getting good radio updates, but its not gaining enough views.

Billboard Hot 100 is looking more and more like Youtube top 100 :toofloppy:
