Bruno is like Adele to me. His music is very average (IMO), yet people just eat it up. I will just never understand the appeal.

So nice to see Try in the top 10, it had an amazing run :)

***and Just Give Me a Reason is number 1 in Australia, she`s on fire

People LOVE P!nk in Australia. I'm really glad for her, and for Nate, why not... Hopefully it'll perform good in the US as well.

I read somewhere Katy and Dr Luke are still working together

so don't get your hopes up yet lol

Is that possible? Didn't Dr. Luke sign an exclusive deal with Sony, in exchange for making up his own label there? While Katy Perry is now under the umbrella of the Universal Music Group, Sony's main competitor, after the UMG-EMI merger. But anyway, I'd love to hear an album from Katy without Dr.Luke's heavy involvement. It's great that she's working with Sia for a change.

Dangerous Man

That Bruno song is just awful. I just can't comprehend why anyone would spend their money on that crap.

it's good when you listen to it live. I was not really a fan of that song until I'd watched his The Voice performance. :)

HITS for next week's chart:

He's indeed climbing up so fast.

I'm very pleased with Bruno Mars' success as a solo artist in the midst of female artists, such as Adele, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Rihanna, commanding the mainstream charts for quite some time. It's basically him and Justin Bieber who are currently the top two solo male pop acts today.

The only difference perhaps between the two would be that Justin's moving more albums and Bruno's charting better in the singles chart. The only male artist I've in mind that could sell huge sales of both singles and albums would be Eminem, who's been dominating the charts since the 2000s, selling over 100 million albums worldwide and securing at least 4 HOT 100 chart-toppers.

LAWD. Bruno needs to GTFO. First, he blocks Britney with Grenade in 2011 (HIAM would of gone #1 WW) and is cockblocking S&S from #2 on Billboard and now THIS. :rip:

That song is terrible and is tuneless and does not deserve the success that it is getting. There were far more single-worthy tracks on UJ.

Guess, S&S is yet another top three peak for her. Why cannot she have at least one #2 hit in the HOT 100 chart?

He can burn in a hole and die. Along with Britney's #2 peak.

I can live with it. The song definitely exceeded my expectations, so I'm not complaining. Except in my previous post. :teehee:

YES! I've heard the song a few times now and still barely even remember what it sounded like. It has no distinct melody or tune.
