Nick 29
It's crazy. Out of all the pop stars in the 90s, the only two that remain successful are Britney and Pink. Pink seemed like such a fad...I mean everything about her old image was gimmicky. It's impressive that she's now one of the greatest pop stars and a huge HAC leader.

She's has the same sound basically the entire time.

Her sales are strong, her singles are hits, and her tour is huge.
heavymlover 340
I think it's really impressive considering how little her music has changed. She's has the same sound basically the entire time. After the terrible chart performance of her Try This era, it's understandable that she decided to stick with her original formula. She has really catchy songs, so I guess that this has allowed her to stay so relevant unlike some of her peers. Plus, she has talent and she's different from the typical pretty bubble gum pop star, so I'm sure she appeals to many people.
CoolTrainerTerry 1,307
Avril staying strong at #10. FYI - For those of you wanting the uncensored version, that is now the only version available on iTunes. If you delete the song from your library and redownload it from the cloud, you will get the explicit version. :) It's such a good song Not here for Selena's TTT reject song. And guess who got MTN to play on radio today.
Guest
I'll just post what I already posted in the UK Charts Discussion thread. I think it is an enormous advantage for P!nk that she's "forgotten"/not considered as one of the biggest pop stars. The whole world is expecting Gaga, Beyoncé and co. to top themselves with every song they release and criticize them for a minimal mistake/controversy. Furthermore I believe that P!nk embodies most of the women. She's rebellious and cheeky, yet emotional. I never met somebody who disliked her. It's kinda mysterious
WarriorPrince 1
JGMAR totally has this indie-hipster-pop atmosphere around it. These type of songs are the new electro pop in the charts.

Her vocals are usually flawless all the time.

"Who Knew" really changed the game for her and it didn't even become a hit until a year after it was released lol. I'm so happy that she was able to survive. Although I don't care for TTAL, I still appreciate her talent.
Dangerous Man 9,245
The contenders for next week H100 #1, I think, are JGMAR, WIWYM, Stay and Thrift Shop. Let's see... "A little less conversation and a little more touch my body."

Morphine Prince 103,178
"Right Now" by Rihanna would be an amazing single. It would do amazing on the charts. I'm not even a fan of hers and I like that song.
Mills 446
Congratulations to Bruno Mars for his 5th HOT 100 single. I guess he just became the first artist in recent memory to have his first two singles from his first two albums to hit #1 in the HOT 100 chart. That's one huge accomplishment. And well deserving for Warner Music's biggest moneymaker at the moment. I've never seen a male solo artist securing multiple HOT 100 #1s in a relatively short period of time since Usher's chart domination back in the 2000's. If anything, this further solidified Bruno Mars' place as among the most successful HOT 100 artists of the 2010's along with Katy Perry and Rihanna.
