Okay, okay. Some things so I understand the discussion:

- What is WFL and WHYB?? :confused:

- Poor "C'Mon"... :noparty: But it has outsold "Marry the Night"... But I think it's time (as a Ke$ha fan) to call it a flop... Especially when "Marry the Night" was an album's 5th single and "C'Mon" was just the 2nd single... Soo...

Has a 5th single ever gone to #1? I'd assume it's been a loooong time if so. Bad is the last one I can recall.

Katy doesnt count. That song went to #2 IMO.

MTN went #1 on the dance charts :emma:

Last Friday Night (TGIF) - Katy Perry

But even the song didn't do that hot like her past 4 singles

I edited my post, but I don't think that song should count.

Basically just saying I agree 5 singles is a bad idea.

Y'all are comparing Gaga's numbers to Rihanna, and yeah Gaga kinda wins but what if you guys had brought the Teenage Dream, 21 and Red numbers. :emma:

5th singles are never a good idea

Teenage Dream disagrees. :emma:

$0.69 Songs that are Remixed with a rent a rapper for a 5th single are never a good idea

We Found Love and Where Have You Been both are Rihanna singles from her 6th album Talk That Talk.

WFL= We found love

WHYB= Where have you been

We don't know if it has outsold MTN yet, we just know that MTN is over 500.000 tho

I just want Gaga lead single to sell more than 4M and her album more than 2M in the US. That would be good for me

I want to see if Katy, Adele or Taylor can sell albums and singles from an album like BTW. :emma:

4M for the single would satisfy me, but I wouldn't be completely satisfied unless the album exceeds 3 million. If it lacks in the US, over 7 million WW would suffice :coffee:
