CANNOGABANG 4
Screechskaper also went #1 on itunes when it came out We'll see how Screecher Attack goes . I personally root for this song of her. I didn't like her previous song (minus some of the ones in Camp Rock)
nick4bty 2,758
Meanwhile, I can't help lol at Mariah flopping with Almost Home.

nick4bty 2,758
it's a soundtrack single tho? Still made no impact whatsoever. Nor did Triumphant. If I were Mariah, I'd be a little worried.
Jake 0
Bet if Demi did a soundtrack single it would chart higher :nails:
EarnYourLeather 231
Feel This Moment and Heart Attack are giving me life right now. They will both slay. EDIT: I have become quite the Demi fan. I've been listening to her last CD / new single, and I like.

In a career spanning over two decades, Carey has sold more than 200 million records worldwide, making her one of the best-selling music artists of all time. In 1998, she was honored as the world's best-selling recording artist of the 1990s at the World Music Awards. Carey was also named the best-selling female artist of the millennium in 2000. With the release of "Touch My Body" (2008), Carey gained her eighteenth number one single in the United States, more than any other solo artist. In 2012, Carey was ranked second on VH1's list of the "100 Greatest Women in Music". Aside from her commercial accomplishments, Carey has won five Grammy Awards, 17 World Music Awards, 11 American Music Awards, and 31 Billboard Music Awards. Referred to as the "songbird supreme" by the Guinness World Records, she is famed for her five-octave vocal range, power, melismatic style and signature use of the whistle register. Essence 235
That new Demi song is kinda... Not really growing on me. Sounds a bit messy. This. Could be part of Camp Rock 3: After Rehab I liked Heart Attack but it's already starting to bug me. I can just feel the overplaying of it creeping up around me. Not a huge fan. If I hear it too many times I think I'd have a heart at-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-ack
nick4bty 2,758
Two decades and done tbh Furreal though, Triumphant went nowhere and she kind of promoted that. You would think American Idol promo would've given Almost Home a boost. People just weren't interested it seems. I know Mariah is queen of the comebacks, but I don't know if she can do it again. She's gonna have to make some better music. Feel This Moment and Heart Attack are giving me life right now. They will both slay. EDIT: I have become quite the Demi fan. I've been listening to her last CD / new single, and I like. I have both songs on repeat :legend:
EarnYourLeather 231
Mariah's career is at the point that Madonna and Cher were a decade ago. Her prevalence on radio is decreasing, but her legacy, tour, and album sales will continue to grow. She can put out a tour and album, and it will perform beyond par. Her future radio play will probably be slim to nothing. It's the career-span of a legend, tbh. Radio don't got time for a 40 year old pop singer, but the ancient pop artists have a stan base that will buy the singer's music / tour.
Ozzy8923 9
Mariah's net worth is over $600M. The good sis does not need those coins from album or single sales and just got $18M from AI (that should be enough to sustain her). Not to mention, Nick Cannon makes quite the salary so she's kinda set for life. She can flop to the depths of hell and will remain being worth more than both of my faves combined.

To be completely honest, I would kill to see Mariah get another song at the top of the charts. It could happen. I mean, did anyone really think We Belong Together would end up the song of the decade? Doesn't seem like she's content with that though. Especially with an album on the way.
