boysboysboys 278
Well for sure it solidified the album status as a turning point in Gaga career. If Gaga would have stop promoting BTW with MTN and no tour, I pretty sure BTW wouldn't be so memorable to everyone. The fact the era/theme/message last so long contrast with somes small chart underperformance of the album, making it, in overall, a pretty huge ass success worldwide ! I think if you ask everyone a Gaga song, they will come up with Poker Face or Bad Romance. But if you ask them about a Gaga album, if pretty sure Born This Way is what will come up to their mind. BTW was promoted the way it should have been, as an album ! Ditto to every point in this post. If BTW wasn't promoted as an album, it would easily be forgotten, which it actually won't be in spite of what the haters say. We can also praise the aesthetics of the way the album was promoted. There was no finagling with boy drama, there were no too-personal moments, and the album, art and music were always bigger than Gaga when she was promoting it. Ozzy8923 9
Let's look at the Top 10 and see which ones are relatable: 1. Harlem Shake. Well, l've never been with a terrorist before so this is not relatable. 2. Thrift Shop. I got coins to pay for nice clothes but I've been in a thrift shop every once in a while... 3. Stay Meh. I guess everyone has that special someone that they want to stay. 4. Scream & Shout. Well, WHEN WE UP IN DA CLUB ALL EYES ON AUS. I guess that's relatable. 5. I Knew You Were Trouble. Relatable enough. 6. Ho Hey. I have no idea what this song is about... 7. Locked Out of Heaven. Well, I' still a virgin so you can say I've been locked out of heaven for a while now. 8. When I Was Your Man. I guess we all yearn for that special someone to come back and rekindle the relationship. 9. Suit & Tie. I own a suit and a tie so yes. 10. Started From the Bottom. There are some people out there that rise up from the ashes like a lotus.
boysboysboys 278
Feel This Moment is good. Much better than that annoying **** excuse of a song Don't Stop the Party. Plus Legend-X actually sounds good in it (off topic, but I don't understand how she can sound like **** on most of her own album and so good on this track). So I'm hoping it smashes. I'm starting to like the song too, lol.
Dangerous Man 9,245
Agreed. Her voice sounds majestic. C'mon Legend X needs a hit before she fades into irrelevancy for good. she'll be forever relevant though, just like brit and madge. Let's look at the Top 10 and see which ones are relatable: 1. Mills 446
It seems next week would be a much better week for both Rihanna and Bruno Mars, as both of their latest albums are being projected to rise in the Billboard 200 chart. Unorthodox Jukebox for #2, while Unapologetic is set to return in the top 10. The GRAMMY Album of the Year winner Mumford & Sons' Babel is projected for a fifth week at the top spot, according to the Nielsen SoundScan Building Chart. Then again, it's sad that she can only get a hit on a song she's featured on :laughga:
Mills 446
Feel This Moment at #18 in iTunes sounds promising. I love the Take On Me feel, it feels something nostalgic yet new. This may be Christina Aguilera's biggest hit since Moves Like Jagger, another single which she was featured in. But unlike the Maroon 5 smash hit, this collaboration with Pitbull has her part more prominent.

I thought it's a amazing that UJ is getting that great boost more than any album (except Babel) from artists who won grammys this year. I mean, Bruno just performed half of LOOH and just made a Bob Marley tribute but now he's getting more boost than the other artists esp. Rihanna. I bet he's getting more and more recognition lately because of his live performances. He reminds me of gaga actually. "A little less conversation and a little more touch my body."
