The stage was lacking after the introduction, no outfit changes, barely singing in some of the songs. I didn't really like it. And I'm not even mentioning the fact it had NO new music. She's just an excellent singer and dancer and she did both of those things very well tonight. I do wish she would have performed something new though. Knee's team wouldn't be stupid enough to let the opportunity pass them by. But Beyonce's team did. Britney used X-Factor to her advantage and got one her biggest hits WW and in the US. Mills 446 Posted February 4, 2013 Share Posted February 4, 2013 Beyonce may not have used that golden opportunity to debut a new single in one of the biggest platforms known, but I guess this would be remembered as one of her best performances to date. I agree with her that the Super Bowl half-time show was to cement her legacy, and arguably they're hesitant to make it a mere promotional campaign for her new material. The whole show was a feel-good moment and the absence of a new music material somehow makes it more of a celebration to her as a performer who has paid her dues over the last decade or so.
