It's just a fun song, just like Gangnam Style or Call Me Maybe have been. It's that kind of goofy song that everyone starts humming. I'm not a fan though. Fun careless music topping the charts didn't start with PRA (that's happened since the beginning) and it certainly isn't US-exclusive.
