Listening to Thrift Shop for the first time... How interesting

Not a fan but it's so great to see something so different doing so well, especially released on an independent label.

Another sleeper hit, I guess. It's en route to become the Somebody That I Used To Know of this year, hopefully. I love seeing relatively fresh acts taking over the mainstream-dominated charts.

My radio station still hasn't played S&S. They did the same thing with Titanium, but started playing it once the song went top 10. Took them long enough. :coffee:

Here for People Like Us to slay after CMB! :excited2:

I waited until I got the album to listen to it, and oh my freaking God, if that isn't a single, I will rage. It is PERFECT!

Don't You Worry Child vaults from 11-7 this week in the HOT 100 chart, giving Swedish House Mafia their first top ten entry. Congratulations to them for finally breaking into the mainstream. If anything, it's the best chart news this week. Hopefully, they'd get their first GRAMMY with DYWC too.

A huge congratulations as well to Bruno Mars and to his fans as LOOH spends its sixth consecutive week atop the HOT 100 chart. Same goes to Macklemore and Ryan Lewis for their sleeper hit Thrift Shop zooming from 5-2. Will they end Bruno Mars' reign next week? Anyway, I'm just glad that S&T would give JT another top five hit in his hands. Not bad for a comeback single, compared to those who tried to make a comeback last year.

Of course it will be a single, don't be silly. That song is a smash waiting to happen.

Could not agree more. And, I could only hope CMB to somehow make it into the top ten at least. She deserves it more than anyone else. But even if it does not, there's always the sixth studio album on the way.

I don't like her.

I've never met anyone who doesn't like Kelly Clarkson....

She may not have a stanbase, but she's just generally liked by, well, everybody.

She has never given a bad performance. Voice is spot on all the time. And her songs are catchy as ****! It's so nice to have her on the radio in between the Rihannas and Katys.
