Americano 31,061
I love how Gaga fans refuse to call Rihanna tracks flops, but then you'll pounce about Judas in 2 seconds being a flop. Give me a break

Arturo 40,746
Now, I'm all here for calling Rockstar 101, California King Bed, and Man Down flops But Birthday Cake, a flop? The radio version wasn't even on iTunes, and it sold 1M. That's pretty good if you ask me.
Jake 0
BC did better that MTN in sales and didn't have music video or promotion even TTT went gold without music video and promotion Rihanna's Chris Brown crap with that remix was all the promo that track needed. It was ALL over the news and Twitter. And TTT was near the beginning of her era. Apples to oranges.

Deacon 5
BC was one of the most confusing situations other than the fact that it took four writers to create. An interlude that was clearly a longer song (judging from the fade-out) that became a fan-favorite, then it was released as a semi-single with a remix that wasn't made available for digital download and had no video. Weird. Then again, it's only purpose was controversy.
Deacon 5
I didn't hear anything about it on the news or Twitter Nobody talked about it based on my experiences at least Everybody was freaking out when the news hit. Billboard (and a few others) even wrote an open letter to Rihanna against the remix.

And TTT was near the beginning of her era. Apples to oranges. But in somehow was bad promotion the news were talking crap about that remix and alot of people didn't like the collab. TTT with music video could have done better. But she always have two-three flop singles per era
HausOfBee 0
Birthday Cake definitely did not flop considering it didn't even have a video and urban radio latched onto it for dear life when the Chris Brown remix was released. It would be in Def Jam's best interest to release a video for Pour It Up tailored for the urban audience because radio is already playing it and it's starting to rise on iTunes. Stay isn't a bad song, I just think she should have went with something different like "Jump" or "Nobody's Business".
nick4bty 2,758
Stay will flop unless they give it a radio-friendly remix. As it is, radio will not pick it up in the same vein as her other singles.
Babel 41,494
Stay isn't a strong ballad like Diamonds, imo the future of this single is uncertain. At least they waited for Diamonds to bore people to launch the next single. They learned their lesson after WFL literally ate YDO success.

Her label's strategy to release singles left and right for them to cater a wider audience across all possible formats have eventually lead Rihanna to have a huge amount of misses in the process, and at the same time, hits as well.
