Magoo 6
New BB Hot 100 calculations for next week based on 4 days of itunes bars, mediabase airplay and a streaming estimate #position, sales (000's) + Mediabase airplay (A.I. millions) + streaming (Ks x 10%) = points, artist, song, (change on Hot 100) #1 183 + 197 +103 = 471 Bruno Mars LOOH (=) #2 122 + 180 +107 = 395 Rihanna Diamonds (+1) #3 153 + 150 + 86 = 378 The Lumineers Ho Hey (+1) #4 257 + 94 + 0 = 361 Taylor Swift IKYWT (-2) #5 162 + 111 + 55 = 323 Phillip Phillips Home (+4) #6 140 + 104 + 70 = 303 Justin Bieber ft Minaj BAAB (-1) #7 87 + 142 + 67 = 290 Maroon 5 One More Night (+1) #8 177 + 38 + 97 = 287 Mackelmore & Lewis Thrift Shop (+2) #9 97 + 121 + 62 = 274 Flo Rida I Cry (+2) #10 161 + 53 + 63 = 264 will.i.am ft Britney S&S (+2) #11 93 + 95 + 77 = 252 Ke$ha Die Young (-4) #12 110 + 77 + 73 = 246 Swedish House Mafia DYWC (+3) #13 120 + 80 + 54 = 245 Alecia Keys GOF (+1) #14 81 + 98 + 68 = 236 Fun. comrade 33
Hipsters and rockers hate pop stars for being manufactured (not writing their songs) and sometimes for not being able to sing or put on a show. Gaga beats Riri in both areas. Is't Gaga typically a leader in unwanted views on Last FM, so she interests a lot of hipsters who don't want to admit to listening to pop. Google "Coldplay sell out Rihanna" https://www.google.c...iw=1347&bih=515 There are plenty of intelligent adults with several years of college who may appreciate Gaga, who aren't necessarily hipsters in the music snob sense. More interested in ideas and cultural impact, and not ashamed to enjoy a good dance tune. Intellectuals were often nerds and outsiders in high school and get Gaga's message. Coldplay is not relevant in this discussion as the band itself is hated by pretty much every music snob and hipster. And yes, that particular crowd loves to complain about pop stars & co., yet in the end they go by what sounds cool enough. Rihanna tracks like Diamonds are very well featured on hipster and lifestyle blogs. Gaga songs not so much, as they are so overproduced. And let's not over-appreciate Gaga's "intelligence" message. For example, I bet most feminists hate on her just like they hate on every other popstar who's ready to flash her boobs in no time and enforce the idea of female body being a marketing tool. Her image is far from "intellectual".

That was unexpected. And same goes for Phillip Phillips. Anyway, still hoping for IKYWT to hit #1 in the coming weeks.
Dangerous Man 9,245
So C'mon will enter hot 100 just because of its airplay and streaming points? Or can even enter top 10 without digital download support? "A little less conversation and a little more touch my body."
Rocky 21
So C'mon will enter hot 100 just because of its airplay and streaming points? Or can even enter top 10 without digital download support? C'mon is already #97 something on Hot 100 and it was #99 last week. I doubt it can reach even top 20 if it won't surge in sales but trust me: it will in the following weeks. Mills 446
RCA would arguably pull all the strings for Ke$ha to continue that top ten streak with C'Mon. If not, I'd completely be surprised as it's her biggest achievement so far.

Adele and Mumford are kind of exceptions that had to dominate their category to do it.
