Criminal wasn't a ballad. If you call this a ballad, then songs like The One That Got Away and Hair would also be ballads, which they are not. They're just midtempo. Another example of a fan favourite track not getting the much-needed support of the general public. Aside from I Wanna Go, it's actually one of my favourites from FF.
