Gonna be honest, Gaga's not nearly as talented as Madonna on guitar. Gaga has in the past used a guitar as it a prop (Venus), or when she has attempted to properly play it, she's had to do it with other guitarists (Ayo). But, on the other hand, Gaga is a classically trained pianist and a 10x better vocalist - so yeah, Gaga tops Madonna. But Madonna is still mega talented and a better dancer to some degree

She'd make NO money. No one's buying her overpriced skincare line. And hardly anyone's buying or streaming her albums. Most artists may their money from touring nowadays, I believe

Ummm you do know Madonna is a Billionaire now right? She reached that status years ago it was in Forbes. She doesn't need the money.

Gaga is a musician, a lyricist, a vocalist, she knows how to play piano : she is a singer and a musician first and foremost.  Madonna, on her side, is more of a show director, she knows how to handle a stage, she knows how to create shows, she is a professional dancer, she knows how to create concepts and execute them : she basically invented the "cohesive pop eras".

If both of them play in the same grounds, their strengths lie in different fields, in which they both excel at.

The truth is, as they get older, Gaga will always have instruments and acoustic music to rely on : she'll sell venues with just her and a piano. Now it is more difficult at Madonna's age to rely on her body, even though she might be one of the "strongest" performers of her age on earth.

One thing I would expect from this fanbase would be kindness and compassion, which seems to be something lots of fans here completely lack. And I mean this not just with Madonna, but even with Gaga herself.

Chromatica is all about bringing people together, which is all part of Gaga's philosophy since her career began and yet some of the vile stuff some members write is just completely contradictory this way of being in the world.

First I would just like to point that the two last dates were cancelled because of coronavirus and the restrictions that the French government put in place, not allowing gatherings with more than 1000 people.

Second, anyone making easy digs at Madonna's health and cancellations this tour should be mindful that we are talking about someone physical and mental wellbeing, something which Gaga has herself struggled in the past.

Third, we are talking about an artist that is 61 years old and is  approaching 40 years of career.

Then, just take a look at these numbers:

This is the total number of shows Madonna performed in each tour. Most recently with Madame X, she had 93 shows scheduled and performed 75, so a total cancellation of 18 shows.

So no, people shouldn't be taking easy digs at her, making fun of her struggles this tour, but instead support her and recognise her resilience.

At the last and final Madame X show on Sunday, Madonna said:

I'm gonna be honest with you, because to me honesty is the best policy and this is Madame X theatre and Madame X always speaks her mind. I'm not having my best show, just facts. Thank you for coming. Thank you for tolerating all of my cancellations. Honestly if you can't get out of the bed and you can't walk, you can't get on stage, so I'm doing my best and I'm doing it for you.

A lot could have been done differently, her management could have dealt with things better, all that is absolutely valid. But one thing is for sure, the woman is faithful to her art, her musicianship, her fans, and for that, I would hope people here would be kinder.

This is a person who directly or indirectly influenced all our contemporary faves, who topped the charts for 3 decades around the world, who has one of the most outstanding discographies of all female artists, and achieved both artistic and commercial success all the way through. This strength, resilience, and devotion is something we all as pop music fans should cherish.
