I think, genuinely, she's set out to make the album her fans have hoped for...

As a huge fan, I was hoping for an experimental album tho. I really consider Gaga ten steps ahead of every other pop artist (because, let's face it, she's a rockstar at heart), on the level of David Bowie who used to space with every sound possible without being basic and giving everything a very personal spin like she did in every other album. However let's wait some more weeks before judging, if it turns out to be an electronic masterpiece that's good

I don’t know, I have a feeling Gaga didn’t write as much on this album. I’m getting Beyoncé vibes from this :ally:

I think Gaga wrote the bulk of it, she's not the type of artist to have lots of people on board after she wrote one word :ally:

I might have to hide this coment but my feeling is she had no drive to write it, was pressured, nothing was coming up gaga like, instercope says this is how we're doing things: ryan tedder, max martin, etc, and she learns that wow this is easier this way and actually gets relieved. Loooool or she simply is finishing her contract

Well I think it was lowkey expected that she would go down the more commercial side of things after ASIB, but still make it "Gaga". I think her experimental album may come in the future, there might even be some tracks on Chromatica that are more experimental than others.

So far, Stupid Love in my opinion is not basic or generic but is very radio friendly and very Gaga. No one else is doing what Gaga is doing

If she was pressured to release an album, we would have had one out two years ago.

It feels like she is very passionate about this project, very carefree and very happy this time around

I mean, I'm a little bit scared right now. I'm afraid that this is gonna be a little bit of a basic project.

I’ve been saying this since day one and I got crucified for it. As excited as I am, I’m also extremely nervous we’re getting an album of basic pop songs catered to the radio and the general public, instead of Gaga showing artistic growth.

Yeah I have the same feeling. And I think it started with Joanne. We know songs like Perfect Illusion and Come to Mama are mainly other people’s concepts and lyrics and she got to them only later.

I was just watching some older interview where she said she doesn’t believe in sending a producer some music for them to tweak it and now she did that with Max Martin :messga:

she def seems happy, i'm just putting my pieces from her zane lowe interview the sound and collaborators. And the time also seems to indicate this wasnt an easy project. Imagine how tired she must be, pain, having to succed, having to write that kind of music. to me, or she learned to find comfortable distance or she actually  found energy on high energy music and collaborating. the two seem plausible

its gotta hurt her pride. And they way she said it.. Like it seems he only complained about the structre. But if he came on the table it's obvious to me that Interscope told her, okay girl if you can't do it we'll get someone to help.

I think it might be a good experience for her, pride sometimes gets in the way

Well she said she felt very sad but when she wrote, everything that came out was happy. I wouldn't say that she had no drive to write this album at all, cause thats not what was coming through in the Zane Lowe interview. I interpreted that when they say writing music is a healing process, she really means it. Even though she was crying, she poured that pain into writing and what came out was happy. If she had no drive, everything would appear lazy and thats certainly not the case. She would go back to DJWS/RedOne and just put out anything that happened, or gone down the ASIB "Shallow" route.

I think Gaga finally learned that she is at the stage in her career where its good to branch out and work with many different people. There's a stigma around Max Martin and Ryan Tedder... artists and stans tend brand them as generic. XTina didn't work with Max till much later in her career, and I think Gaga is the same. She finally learned to let go and say "why not?" cause you won't actually know until you work with people and see/hear what the outcomes are. It takes much more guts, much more drive, more determination to let your guard/walls down and destroy any previous conceived ideas about people and actually go in and work with them.

So for me its actually the complete opposite of lazy, uninspired, lacking drive.

If you listened to the Zane Lowe interview I think it's clear that's not the case. Maybe she did the pass the songs around more than she usually would, but I still think there will be a lot of her on the album.
