The start of the era already feels a bit underwhelming, Stupid Love is a great song and it will probably do even better at the long run, but it wasn't a moment, a COMEBACK, like for, example, Taylor's LWYMMD or Bey's Formation. I think I had really high expectations cuz it's Gaga's return to her dance roots after like 7 years, but there's still a lot to happen and I'm excited. She said in the Zane Lowe interview that her goal for this album is to "put out music that a big chunk of the world will hear, and it will become a part of their daily lives and make them happy every single day". I feel like in order to do that, she wants to have a more commercially successful era. That isn't to say that all she wants this era is commercial success, certainly not, but I think her goal is for this era to be bigger than eras past (more so, bigger than Joanne and ARTPOP).
