Chromatica Ball Stage Design Concept

Hello everyone! I'm back with another stage design - The Chromatica Ball!

The stage concept itself is simple because my idea is that Gaga focuses mainly on visuals (hence the giant screens on the stage) and props. I think it would be interesting for her to play around with different tribes and symbols through the tour. The stage is symmetrical with raised platforms on each side of the main stage - where the band would be placed. There is a 8x6 m lift in the center of the stage with LED lighting to illuminate the floor when the lift rises to reveal a modern white/glass piano. The LED screens are circular with spaces that include LED strips. Also, there is a small circle LED screen in the middle of each screen which I imagined to display different tribe symbols. Also, the arena model is not mine! :selena:

Stage measurements are as followed:

Main Stage - 36x17 meters and height 20m;

Catwalk  - 25x4 meters;

B Stage - 24x6 meters.

Yes, it's huge :huntyga:

And following all these informations, I present to you The Chromatica Ball stage concept!

And that's it! I hope you like it! Let me know what you like, what you dislike and what you would like to see on the stage (props, etc.)! :hug:

I think I would prefer to see more of a landscape for the tour, like we’re on the planet of Chromatica. :tony: (Ala TMB and BTWB where there is an obvious setting). I do like your design though! It reminds me of her newer stages which are obviously a bit more neutral when it comes to having a strong sense of theme, which I think is great for giving a diverse range of performances (like ArtRAVE and JWT were both so easy to morph into any given atmosphere thanks to the props and lighting). Either way I’m really excited to see what she comes up with tbh.

Thank you and I agree! I had a different concept in mind. I wanted to recreate those crystals from the Stupid Love MV but SketchUp is not really that good for those types of models. But, I’m learning some new programs so I can deliver better models :huntyga:

This is so good ! How did you do that ?

Thank you! I design and model the stage in SketchUp and render it with vray extension. And I import the stage into Capture 2020 where I set up the lights

This looks amazing - how easy is it to set up the lights and stuff like that using your design from Sketch Up? Do you have a link to Capture 2020, I've never heard of it?

I love that it’s simple and leaves room for the screens and technology to do more the work.

Thank you! Well I’ve been using these two programs for years now so to me it’s easy. You have to practice a lot, there aren’t many tutorials online. But Capture is easy!
Idk if we can share links :huntyga: but google Capture Sweden! It’s the first link that pops up! And go to their download page and download the student version!

The circles remind me a lot of the El Dorado World Tour.

Nice job, but a bit too minimalistic for a Gaga show, for my taste.

I really don't think so, maybe something artrave-style. We should wait to see if there's a concept behind Chromatica or not
