One example... compared to Bernie Bros who sat out or voted third-party in Hillary vs. Trump and may do the same with Biden vs. Trump...

Sometimes I just wish Bernie doesn't win the primary just so Trump could destroy Biden in 2020 and leave the DNC shook. Biden could barely finish a sentence when he's debating, just imagine what trump will do to him on that debate stage.

I don’t know how many times this BS has been debunked on here, but Christ hearing this moronic talking point for years has gotten old.

More Sanders supporters voted for Clinton in 2016 than Clinton supporters voted for McCain in 2008. We overwhelmingly voted for Clinton, even though we hated her. This is a campaign surrogate flat out saying that they wouldn’t vote for Bernie. If one of Bernie’s people had said this, it would’ve been a scandal for weeks and you would’ve condemned them.

Bernie’s not in the best shape either w/recent heart attack and refusal to release more medical records. Biden’s gaffes are embarrassing, but neither are in an ideal position to be president...

"We overwhelmingly voted for Clinton..."
I didn't deny that... but let's not dismiss it, if not for votes than for vitriol towards other candidates: Warren, Pete, Biden, etc.

Trump provides enough division, Bernie's my way or the highway "us against them" approach  isn't doing him any favors. Super Tuesday's underwhelming performance for him was indicative of this. I am not a Biden super fan, but this illusion put forward by many Bernie supporters that he's god-like and passes all purity tests is out of touch and didn't secure him the nomination in 2016 and won't again in 2020.

Why do all of you anti-Sanders people sound like robots? Exactly the same talking points, even down to the phrasing.

Biden did better than initially expected in ST because he got upwards of $100,000,000 of free positive press after SC while Sanders was trashed endlessly in the media as some sort of evil, crazed maniac who would destroy the party AND because every major political actor with any establishment ties in every ST state endorsed Biden right before the election AND nearly every candidate in the race dropped out and endorsed him AND the one other “progressive” candidate in the race stayed in, intentionally syphoning votes from Sanders instead of endorsing him. It’s a miracle that Sanders has been able to accomplish what he’s accomplished with all of that working against him.

And you’re trying to claim it’s because his supporters are “mean” online, meaning that they have political principles and will call out other candidates for their godawful records. Only someone completely detached from reality (or doesn’t really mean any of it and just hates Sanders and wants to feel vindicated by lecturing his supporters online) would buy into that nonsense.

Not true.

Only seventy-five per cent of Sander’s supporters voted for Hillary.

So, you are spreading the BS, not the other way around.

They didn’t, not at the same rate that Hillary supporters turned to Obama.

“About 74 percent of Sanders’s primary voters also voted for Clinton in November 2016.”

Also, in no world does Trump = McCain. When faced with Trump, any rational thinking person knows to vote against him with the best case to beat him!

You've been reposting this one piece of data for months when literally every other poll shows that a significantly higher number of Sanders supporters voted for Clinton than Clinton voters voted for Obama in 2008.

https://www.vox.com/2019/3/8/18253459/hillary-clinton-bernie-sanders-2020-relitigate-primary

"more Sanders primary supporters voted for Clinton in the general election than Clinton supporters voted for Barack Obama in 2008."

More Clinton people in 2008 voted for McCain than Bernie supporters voted for Trump in 2016, even after Clinton flat out smeared us as racist, sexist, homophobic white guys who hate women.

There was literally an entire movement of racist white women who voted for Hillary and then organized around opposing Obama: PUMAS (Party Unity My Ass). You know that.

Another useful comparison is to 2008, when the question was whether Clinton supporters would vote for Barack Obama or John McCain (R-Ariz.) Based on data from the 2008 Cooperative Campaign Analysis Project, a YouGov survey that also interviewed respondents multiple times during the campaign, 24 percent of people who supported Clinton in the primary as of March 2008 then reported voting for McCain in the general election.

An analysis of a different 2008 survey by the political scientists Michael Henderson, Sunshine Hillygus and Trevor Thompson produced a similar estimate: 25 percent. (Unsurprisingly, Clinton voters who supported McCain were more likely to have negative views of African Americans, relative to those who supported Obama.)

Thus, the 6 percent or 12 percent of Sanders supporters who may have supported Trump does not look especially large in comparison with these other examples.
