What we can't afford is this to cause hysteria among people. And it already has begun. Especially the racist attacks against Asians around the world. 

That’s good!  I know that sometimes they do very good journalistic work.

And for sure!  Hysteria is bad, which is why I repeated “don’t panic” multiple times, and offered multiple solutions for people to stay as healthy as they can.  People should take this seriously, but not panic.     

And any racist attack is some dumb ****.  Coronavirus isn’t an “Asian disease” any more than HIV was a “gay disease”.  People want any excuse to be horrible to others, and this provides one.

As someone born, raised, and living in Austin.. I'm kinda glad! 

Life turns into such a hassle when South by Southwest starts. You just have to stay home until the festival ends.

I actually know the feeling. Living in NYC it’s horrible to go outside during the NYE or Global Citizens Festival. 

There’s several cities that experience this and it sucks all for a night of entertainment.
