A No-Audience Concert

Hmm, that's an interesting idea. Though if she were to record a whole show for home viewing with zero live audience, I think I might prefer if she tweaked the talking/presentation a bit from her usual 'stage mode' -- like, she could change the manner of how she addresses the viewer so it wouldn't be too awkward. For example, she shared stories a bit differently on "A Very Gaga Thanksgiving" vs. when she has a whole show crowd around her, and it worked out well. Another example, she could still have a little prepared spiel about what a monster paw is but wouldn't be shouting 'put your f***ing hands up' to an empty room 20x.

I'm not here for this idea but I really don't think it's that deep tbh

How is there nothing artistic about a no audience concert? Wouldn't that mean any concert without a live audience isn't artistic? Even though it's the same **** whether people are there or not? What about studio performances where it's just the artist? A great audience can help make the show what it is but it's not the be all and end all. It wouldn't be half as entertaining but the content is the same, save for fewer "come on little bastards, put your clown makeup on". People are still watching somewhere.

Just wanted to clarify that my criticism is in the forced medium of performance being discussed here. If Gaga were to do this, I am not trying to imply SHE is less of an artist or that HER art is less, well, artsy. I am just saying that forcing her to showcase it in this way is an issue and I would think she would agree.

Sorry if my dramatics made that unclear.
