Notthebling 1,900 Posted March 5, 2020 Share Posted March 5, 2020 LG6 is by far the most exciting era we’ve had for almost 10 years, so no, I’m not complaining about anything, first of all. I am living for every single thing happening right now. The album, Stupid Love, the MV, the Gagavision, the merch - it all SLAYS. BUT - this tour annoucement today really caught me off guard and threw me off a little. It confused a lot of things for me. The feeling I had was she was gonna release the album WITHOUT touring, and stay in Vegas with a revamped show for another year or two (she’s been very vocal about staying in vegas for a little while). But now that she announced the Chromatica Ball, I don’t understand what’s her plan anymore. Putting on a stadium production is SO expensive. It is unlikely that she’d only go for 6 dates. It wouldn’t be worth it. But we all know it’s been low-key announced that it’s a 6-dates thing and nothing else, fine. So then? What happens with Enigma in may? She’s gonna do the exact same show? And then leave for a NEW tour, and come back to the old one? It does not make sense. Also the only reason I’m really wanting to know more (because I’m so fine will all the secrecy for an album release) is because there is money, and a LOT of money involved when it comes to show tickets. Las Vegas involves plane and hotel and it’s a whole lot of expenses, right. It will be the same for the Chromatica Ball since she’s going to so many few cities, people will have to travel. It would just be good to know what she plans on doing. If Enigma ends up being the same, I could skip this one and put more money for 2 Chromatica Ball, right. However if it’s a new Enigma, I would also like to see it. That’s really the part I need clarity on. Dont spoil me the featuring on the album, or the cover, or anything else. But when it comes to 300-500$ expenses on my side, Gaga, tell me everything I need to know! So really, my pointy is, Enigma doesn’t make sense anymore. It would suck for fans to see the same show in may while she readies a new stadium world tour. Dat - doo - deet - doe. Dat - doo - deet - doe, dat - doo - deet - doe. I see let’s say Halsey that annouces plenty of stuff, and does Q&A constantly on Twitter. It’s crystal clear, the fans know everything they need. There is a lot of confusion on our side. Doesn’t mean I’m not happy and greatfull for everything so far (planning on the Toronto show for the Ball, but also having tickets for Enigma in may... it’s a lot of money right, I’d like to know at least what I’m getting into) Dat - doo - deet - doe. There is a big difference between Gaga and other artists, so comparing is foolish. Just be patient. Plus also, it's been years and we don't know everything about every era. People change though. She's an adult. Maybe she wants us to think for ourselves. Maybe she wants us to have fun. Maybe it's just really early and she has a tour to prep for and she doesn't have time. As far as I know (and Im not a HUGE Beyoncé fan) - there is a single focus per project in every era. It’s really the first time in her entire career where I’m grasping like this for more information - and a lot of this comes from the Vegas residency which for me, doesn’t make sense anymore in the LG6 rollout/era. I’m not saying it’s the incorrect way of doing a release schedule at all. I just think she should specify this, as there’s money involved for the fans.
