Expand I understand the overrated thing. I feel like maybe because of the nostalgia and maybe because it was my first (nothing ever compares to your first ) that I enjoyed it so much. But I played the other ones later (years after playing VII) and though I thoroughly enjoyed 8, 9, 6 and 12, VII always seemed superior in actual storyline (but 9 was SO close. I LOVED 9.
