Don't wanna say "all" artist merch is pricey but if you're looking for a $15-$20 shirt go to one of those kiosks at the mall or etsy. Official merchandise is always going to have a pricetag, not even just pop stars. It extends to all because merch and touring is how these artists primarily make their money to make the music. They don't make bank off albums or singles alone. And that applies to all artists, indie or mega. Even little bands sell $50-$80 apparel depending on the style, outerwear is usually pricier.
